singapore only available before mid of november with $1000, around RM 2400 ~ right ??

During the Codeandroid session in Singtel Accelerate Conference 2010,
Samsung Representative confirmed it's before mid Nov. And he also emphasize "It could happened any time from now on".
It's around SGD1000 without contract, and in talk with 3 telco in SG to bring down the price with contract.

yes if sign telco plan the price must cheaper than RRP..... but for me $1000 a bit expensive ....

Not a bit.. But far more expensive than iPad value..
But Samsung still claimed that they'll sell Tab faster than Apple's iPad..

Being an iPad user, I can tell you the galaxy even at rm2.5k range is value for money. The iPad is value for a LOT MORE money, a overpriced under spec gadget.

it's hard for others company to beat Apple products. that's what we've seen so far in mobile phone segments. as this will be the first tablet to fight against iPad, it's gonna be interesting to see what will happen..

no matter how great other product is, iPhone or iPad is considered a trend for everyone.

video call is a general thing. since the resolution on the front cam is 1.3mp is looks way better than the n79 that i have.

will getting one if the price is below RM2k...even ipad not officially available in Malaysia after almost 9-10 months launching..i can see this thing can be good for Malaysian if samsung bring it to Malaysia in a short time...

maxis delay or cancel the ipad. Perhaps ipad demand not that good.

ipad got nothing to do with telco like maxis dude...

So far, the so called FaceTime on iPhone 4 only accessible through WiFi connectivity.. So, if Galaxy tab owner wanna video call (or FaceTime by Apple ) to iPhone4 owner, make sure that iPhone4 fella connected with WiFi already.. If not, just do video call with others though.. We're not living around iPhone4 owners only right?

A price of around RM2000 will be competitive and I'd say then is A GOOD BUY
