Think someone mentioned same problem with browsing and force closing, earlier.

Maybe lowyat has too many flash and ads ... you experience the problem for mobile version or pc version lowyat?

Added on December 15, 2010, 4:43 pmAlso there are 2 kinds of opera in market . Which one you use ... opera mobile or opera mini?

Using opera mobile. Although beta, it very stable.

Prefer dolphin hd. Have tried opera.-surprisingly very smooth given winmo version is sluggish.

Nfs shift on samsung apps- old game but nice.

The standard browser and dolphin hd have same problem.... after a while of browsing few pages of lowyat forum, screen goes dim, vibrates then kick out into home screen.

Download Gingerbread Market APK

You can use SGT browser to install.
Major for UI overhaul. A precursor to Gingerbread biggrin.gif . Hopes Sammy release Gingerbread for Tab b4 CNY.

My device is rooted but I think installing this APK doesn't need rooting.

Looking at your screen capture, I assumed such cos can see paid apps in the market list. Normally we only see free apps.

Will try later.

Only when you trying to reply messages. There is some elements in the page which cause the engine to fail, the stock browser behave the same way. Any other pages is working fine.

Yeah, haven't update the firmware. Don't have any issue with the current firmware so not bother to update. May be will try it out and report back.

Last night Google release Google Map 5.0 rclxm9.gif on Market... So guys open the Market to get this update. This includes offline map supports, pinch / rotate, and compass supports. Google Map on 7" screen looks damn good drool.gif .

I already updated using kies, to JJ2

It could be lowyat problem ... who knows. One way to test is to go to topics with lots of pictures eg. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/724397/+1120

First sign of trouble is the sudden dim of screen brightness ... as it continues, it will then vibrate and then kick out to home screen. I'm only using mobile version lowyat (not desktop version)

Will try other websites to compare.
