Hi gals.. im attending a wedding dinner tis Sunday.. Im terrible bad in make-up and thinking if there is anywhere i can get it done with minimum cost..

Heard from others that mayb can request the cosmetic counter to hv product testing and so they will help u to do a make-up using their product.. is tat true?? is it FOC??

If so.. do u know which cosmetic brand's SA is more approachable?? wonder if there is any recommendation in Empire Subang or Subang Parade??

Thx aheap for ur helpful replies~

i not think it is totally FOC.. of coz u need to purchase some items frm them with min purchase.. last month went to Shu, the girl told me to purchase above RM300 they will provide u the make up/skin care courses n bcome their member..

Try ask ur fren o relative who know to make up n ask some help frm them?

Or hire a make up artist.. try search at Service Noticeboard

i do like shiseido's make up. i got it done twice under vousher because i was their member. haha! anyway, even if you go for product testing, they won't make up for you the entire face. if you want to test for eye shadow, they will only do it for you at one eye, same goes to mascara and etc.

if you don't want to purchase any of their stuffs, i heard that they can give you a makeover at RM80 if i am not mistaken. don't quote me for that. you can go around and ask. i do not know any where near your stated place but the shiseido counter i went to was lot 10 and klcc.

i don't really like body shop's make up. i haven't tried it before but looking at their staffs make up, it's just not my style. same goes to MAC's style of make up. haha! i still prefer shiseido's.

some beauty advisors of these brands are make up artists and some aren't. even though they aren't, whoever works for these brands, they will be given training on make up.. for shiseido, i know their employees' training was given by japanese make up artist. not sure if it's all the time but they do have a japanese make up artist from shiseido japan to go to shiseido malaysia and give them training on the latest trand of make up for that season in japan.

i truly trust ahiseido's make up. i mean i went to lot 10 and klcc's shiseido counter and i really like both make up. however, the one i had at lot 10, a beauty advisor did the make up for me and when she was almost done, suddenly a senior of hers came to us and she added some highlight on my lower lid, which i think is overly done as a daily make up, that will look good on photo shoot and she told me it's the latest trend in japan. then i said, for photoshoot, yes it is. i doubt it's for every day make up.. to school, hang out or to work. lol
