QUOTE(Edifier @ May 9 2011, 12:32 AM) Bro, the new S330D cannot use to turn off the speaker due to Edifier need to fulfill the euro requirement. What's you mean by euro requirement ? then which is the proper way to turn off ? Can i just straight off the power switch ? Will have the "dub" sound from the sub-woofer is safe and okay ? Cause if i were to turn of the sub-woofer by the knob , then only by power-switch ; it's kinda...not so user-friendly , my sub-woofer is kinda hard to reach in my set-up. QUOTE(nismo91 @ May 9 2011, 03:11 AM) new euro requirement states that any electrical equipment when on standby should consume only 1W or less. the S330 consumes more than 1W when you switch it off via remote (standby) so now to comply with euro requirement there is no 'standby' already. But if din off the speakers , what bout the electrical consumption ?can shutdown via the switch behind the sub, but unless necesarry there is no need to turn off your speakers. Edifier speakers are known for its durability. or do you mean that i can just switch off through the main power switch ? |
