I have reading speaker related threads for quite some time and found out the cheapest solution to speakers with optical input is Edifier S330D. It seems the best speaker affordable within my budget with optical input. I want to connect it to my Samsung LCD monitor with optical output of which PS3 connected to using HDMI port. Currently using AL VS4621 but disappointed with frequent bass distortion no matter how I adjust the sound/volume settings. Does this model, S330D still being sold in the market? Does it have black colour? I remember saw it somewhere in last year but only available white colour.
