Went to a Basic Sony Alpha Workshop in KK today.. Lol there were only a few cats there and I was one of the 2 or 3 ppl only to own a NEX... Learnt a bit of stuffs la since I am a total newbie to photography... The speaker from KL, he brought an A33 there for us to play with as well lol... It's not as heavy as I thought it would be... The Multi-Frame ISO function is awesomeeeee....
Apparently they wanted to hire models for us to test shoot initially, BUT too little ppl attending! DAMN |

wah how come it seems like a lot of NEX users sien with their NEX already?
They should release their E-mount lens faster like this year end instead of next year! |

QUOTE(Ah hao @ Sep 26 2010, 01:01 AM) i think that is the problem. Nex is targeting to PNS upgrader, but then AF lens only 2 (1 is damn exp for a pns upgrader, so = out) There would be a few new E-Mount lens in 2011 lar... Hopefully there'd be lens with lower F but not crazy price like the 18200Pns upgrader wants Bokeh (to me, and i assume most ppl are same like me), but the lowest F is f2.8 (and no bokeh on this lens)... so we nid to use adapter on it with alpha lens, but it bcome ugly n large. those who interest in MF lens are senior, but then they don like the button lacking prob. so, who shud buy nex ? is it marketing strategy failure ? |

QUOTE(Ah hao @ Sep 26 2010, 01:10 AM) until now still no news of new lens at all, so really don know how long gonna wait... Got news already lar, no exact date only...18200 is really crazy price (to a pns upgrader) and from Luminous landscape, using adapter with alpha lens AF may nid 2-4 sec to focus http://www.imaging-resource.com/NEWS/1285109120.html Another important announcement included a roadmap of NEX lenses: A total of seven new E-mount (NEX) lenses will be announced in the next two years; four coming in 2011 alone. With the 18-200mm lens only just starting to reach stores, the lack of lenses has been seen as a limitation of the NEX cameras. Sony clearly wanted to send a strong signal today that they're addressing the issue. Here's what they have scheduled: 2011 Wide-angle Carl Zeiss prime lens Telephoto zoom Macro lens Portrait lens 2012 High-performance standard zoom Wide-angle zoom Medium Tele |
