i think that is the problem. Nex is targeting to PNS upgrader, but then AF lens only 2 (1 is damn exp for a pns upgrader, so = out)

i still remember b4 the NEX launch, u pray hard the price will be < 2k and during that time u edi know NEX only have AF 2 lens

after few month, u start lost ur interest to it. and complain only 2 AF lens

now A33 out, u tell urself u like something even more advance, more bokeh +++, but do u know A33 also got its limitation and it disadvantage? go try it our and read more review as well as ask urself what u really want.

i do see ppl start from A200, within months sell it and go A700 and after months sell it A900.
as for lens also, he heard this good, he go buy, and end up buying lots of under utilize lens.

u will never be enough if u don know what u want. there is always pros and cons within A33 and NEX


Pns upgrader wants Bokeh (to me, and i assume most ppl are same like me), but the lowest F is f2.8 (and no bokeh on this lens)... so we nid to use adapter on it with alpha lens, but it bcome ugly n large.

is not fair u group all PNS upgrader wants bokeh, i would said a lot of pns dunno what is bokeh but most pns want something good in low light and sharp picture.

those who interest in MF lens are senior, but then they don like the button lacking prob.

so, who shud buy nex ? is it marketing strategy failure ?

there is no rules said beginner cannot use MF. u be surprise lot of pro like NEX due to is ability of using simply what-so-ever lens with lot of cheap adapter available in ebay, especially those leica lens lover.

a lot of pro like nex with MF, but MF mean WB, Ex, all that nid to set manually rite ? nex lack of button really make things complicated...

and i say not much newbie like MF is bcos its too complicated for newbie like me, as a newbie, hv to control wb, ex, iso, aperture, shutter speed...   

btw, i hvn lost my interest with my nex 

jus bcos i wan a potrait budget lens like 50mm f1.8, so i am thinking to change to a33 bcos the cost is around the same

Batmaninkl : Take all reviews with a pinch of salt. Also be aware that it's not really good practice to shoot video clips that goes on and on and on for minutes and minutes. It'll bore the heck out of everyone!

Try looking at music videos. They are usually only around 5 minutes in length but notice how many times the view changes and how long on average a camera angle lingers on a specific subject before the view is switched.

Even in TV, the view will switch without lingering on for very long. Rarely will you see a dialog being recorded from on single POV for the entire duration.

I highly doubt anyone will be impressed with a 29-minute unbroken footage so that makes the overheating problem really just a minor niggle no matter what the brand.

nex has outstanding iso, it doesnt need hotshoe for flash,.... and sooner or later, they will have replacement with even better iso.... m43rd if they pack more sensor diode, it will eventually has more noise (due to the packed diodes) compare to APS-C size sensor

ohya, one thing i dont understand till today.

why sony A3/4/5/ series, they dont ever make a AF illuminator for it? even Nex has it... if they had one, solve all the stupid hunting issue in lowlight for entry camera ma... @.@
