i doubt Nex overheat that easy, i doubt even the if u have enough space (memcard) for 1 hour recording... i have not heard big issue on Nex overheat,.... on same topic....

will the VG10 overheat? or the design actually has a huge HeatSink behind the sensor???? till now i still waiting for ppl to open up the VG10 to see the inside!

not really, KM Minolta had good market in AF film era... 'huge' in fact, they have great range of lens, 1600mm was famous that time before canon or nikon even have anything pass 1000mm. its when entering digital age... it enter digital era slower then others(canon cmos was really really hot, and nikon had a hardtime too)... and few error they made, Merge with Konica, and marketing drop that time... until a point, camera dont make money for them, ma sell to sony lor,(konica minolta still around, making photocopy machine, still make more money then DSLR) since sony had sometime wanna buy over some mount to start instead of starting a new mount... sony ever offer to buy over nikon (nikon was pretty small then, and facing difficulties too) but wasnt sucessful. imagine today Sonikony... @.@ sure very over geng...

ier : sony considered youngest merh.....konica minolta blood weh... smile.gif

well, for us, we know sony barebone was minolta...(i dont use KM because it was wayy later in digital era they merged, and konica did not affect much changes in their dynax(alpha) system)

but for the rest of the world, the younger generation, they see SONY as a New Kid in DSLR.... so, we are still the youngest... and the BIG trend sony brings in, 24mp FF (once the biggest, still the biggest FF?)QLV, DRO, HDR, panorama sweep, etc... not forgetting translucent mirror... sony still young wink.gif

lol.  blush.gif  actually i not really understand what is MF.  laugh.gif
i prefer nex3 just because it is cheaper.  tongue.gif
and what is Curve SS ?  biggrin.gif

but i see like many reviews say the nex prime lens not sharp enough. any user comment about that ah?  laugh.gif
another thing the nex over a33 is the design =x more stylish n slim .  tongue.gif
*
well, which UWA (16mm crop is UWA) F2.8 is sharp? anyone with tokina F2.8 can give a little hint here? to my knowledge, the physical design for UWA lens (10-16mm crop or 16-24 FF) at aperture F2.8, its really hard to get it Sharp* for how frame, usually corner will be soft, and center, not to worry, is Sharp*. even CZ 16-35 F2.8 on FF had hardtime to be really Sharp* and so is canon L... these 3(and nikon UWAF2.8) cost like 10times more then that SEL16 F2.8... how would you like to compare? wink.gif enjoy ur day.

anyone tested samyang 14mmF2.8?

the phottix wireless trigger can use as wired too, the receiver can press shutter too (and u dont have to even on the receiver to safe the batt)

QUOTE(wingster @ Sep 30 2010, 09:15 AM)
Sony 16mm Pancake is really not as sharp as the rivals like Olympus and Panasonic one but that just corner sharpness, in center sharpness the 16mm Pancake still competitive

another thing is the price, Sony 16mm is relatively cheaper than two of their rival A LOTS so is simple you get what you pay, don't compare a G Lens with Kitty Lens
*
really??? because i seen their pancake(on EP1), and its corner is SOFT at 5.6!!! (when i show my friend what APS-C at 16mm can do at F5.6 (CZ16-80), he really felt cheated by Olympus Marketing/advertisement of how m43rd is sharper then crop/FF sensor. LOL)

hi everyone, i have some question about my shutter count. Do u all have any idea to count the shutter?
bcs my fren told me to look at the DSC0**** , if DSC09999 means that ur shutter been used  at 9999times.
But my a330 was newly bought at April in Sony Exhibition item was sealed and i been used not more than 10times for shooting but im ended up at DCS09434 (9434times).
So i try to track back my old photo all is started at DSC08427. what happen to this =.=
anyone?>

lwliam: One GND has the dark side facing 11 O' clock, the other GND has the dark side facing 2 o' clock. I presume that currently, both GNDs face 12 o' clock.
*
william/albnok: GND is long, not square... so have to handheld the other GND(cant slide in the holder) the GND should both look like this / \

some good CPL will have less effect..., but PL filter will be obvious. if shoot on FF, even stronger the green tint effect.

CPL and PL has diff pattern of way to filter the lightwave. wiki for more info
