ahpingko: Infrared filters would usually cause the sky to be darker. I like #1 #3 and the color of the series in general though the compositions are neither here nor there for most.

albnok : thanks. finally can open the .mts video, no sound ok lah.  . the media player classic can play only less than 5 secs then the video stucks but sounds still ok. with the windows MP come out the horrible green lighting for me , dunno how to describe.

usually i just take one picture and let the software gao dim everything else 

software can only do so much, if what you capture is not there to begin with, there's ntg any software can do. ie. Over/under exposed shots.

Another use is for HDR, of coz this dont really apply to A550/500 that much, although, software HDR gives a better output than camera HDR. i dont have to shoot, scroll underexp, shoot, scroll overexp shoot.. With the bracketing, my A700 can set bracket +/-2EV, then just hold the shutter, will *prapp* 3 times one shot..

where/when did he even mention about using flash? your glare source is from the sun ma, there's no flash involved, unless you say you want the flare to come from the flash. then it works the same.

it works the same with any other light source.. lamp post light, spot light, billboard lights etc.
