QUOTE(evilhomura89 @ Sep 20 2010, 04:48 PM) Based on the review by AlphaMountWorld...my excitement towards a33/55 has been slightly dampen and i've been thinking if this is not the one, which one is? Or the reviewer is just too harsh? Well, it basically boils down to what you want in this ever-changing digital imaging arena. Traditional DSLR offers still picture captures that is still second to none in this DSLR/EVIL/DSLT arena. If you want pro level still pic output, the pro level DSLRs are still the machines to turn to.Pros n Cons...please do not read Cons if u're very excited about the a33/55 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « EVIL cams gives you portability and small sizes. Focuses more on being a fun gadget rather than serious photography. Video and other features for a fun outing but never really touching the pro levels. DSLTs are the prototypes and the new experimental gadgets. Can they really find a bridge between the EVILs and the traditional DSLR? Can they really make it work and give you the best of both worlds? Will the consumers accept this new thing? All remains to be seen but it's here. So what's it gonna be? |

ProX : Just so you all know that those 3 thingy may have the label camera on them and they use DSLR sized sensors but they are designed for different markets.
When you start lumping still pictures and video together you're bound to only be able to do one of them rather decently while the other is not really up to par. They have different gadget for photos and videos for a reason you know. You don't see high end video cameras incorporating still pictures taking functions like a DSLR now do you? The majority of the consumers do know really know what they want and most want all-in-one but you can never have a perfect all-in-one gadget. |
