marketing tactics lor...

two cameras exactly the same, just megapixels different. but rm500 difference. for those who are not in the megapixel craze, 101% they will buy the cheaper one right?

so why give the consumers a choice to choose from if we can just sell the more expensive model.

if one got video, one don't have, then different story la.

a380/a330/a390...i don't see the point of these cameras being released IMO.. tongue.gif

and what term ur using? replace right..

we cannot simply justify the different now.. coz now those tech are already mature and can be produced much cheaper..

and that give the users option and for them to improvise..
and they gain something from their investment..

u never ever touch the old computer that coz u 10k which u can easily throw it now into the dustbin do you..
gosh ppl now easily not appreciate things.. sweat.gif

during my school days.. it was a dream to get all the stuffs on my sig.. now can be owned with just a few click..
and it's much cheaper..

no seriously, besides design wise, what difference do you see in a350 and a330 and a390?
*
generally maybe it's not much different now..
but during their time they might be intended to certain users and market segment..

for the sellers it's called strategy.. but for the wise ppl..
we can always have the best option (money, performance, or maybe buy some time etc)..

but seriously without those strategies.. users can't get anything cheaper coz sony can't making money and doing R&D..

You have to understand how the market is. To us the consumers, we know very little about what goes on behind the scene. The sales people will try to sell the brand which will give them the highest commission. It may be that C and N offer higher commission for camera sold so these people push the brands harder lor. It's not really professional conduct as sales persons are supposed to sell to the customer's needs and not sell product with highest commission.

Reviews in magazines and even some websites are also sometimes biased because they need the revenue from advertising. Imagine you have a website that deals with photography gears. C or N advertises heavily on your website thus giving you revenue. Will you post reviews that is not so positive on the cams that C or N produce and heap praises on non-advertising brands like Pentax or Samsung? Are you not afraid that C and N will pull their advertisement and go to other sites and you will lose the revenue? It's just business and money is the bottom line. Sad but true.

so before step to the real world.. just take how much info around and start analyzing..
the final decision is ours.. not the reviewers, not the salesmen..

what you mean normal?8-9am sunlight? 11-1pm sunlight?

you need to know why are you buying an ND for. If you wanna take a pic which is overall exposed, buy the ND which is only half dark, or maybe -4 stops should be sufficient.
got banyak cheap filters la..KEEP....and some other brands i'm not familiar with. biggrin.gif
if those review will wanna pick out faults, they WILL find faults.

most stupid cons of the a33 i still can remember, no fancy filters or what ever the heck la.  doh.gif

for 11AM-3PM.. which suitable?
