Naah...no need to install IMHO. I'm using the default Task Manager on my N8 with no problems at all icon_rolleyes.gif
And sometimes, deactivating certain services on your phone can slow your device down.

Not to mention, the RAM management on the new Symbian is much- much better than the old Symbian^1 used in 5800, N97 etc nod.gif

hmm.gif I have never felt that. It speeds up my phone every time I kill processes.
BTW no matter how good the built-in RAM management, most of the time you will still need a 3rd party one to really do the job well

Well, if only you kill up the correct services. Trust me, some services is more advisable not to be terminated. This comes after all the teeth gnashing times of optimizing my not-so-missed N97 LOLOLOL laugh.gif

I'm not saying that we shouldn't install the 3rd party management app, it just that for average users, I don't think that it is important enuff. The built in manager is sufficient IMHO.

But then, if you wanna install it, then just install it icon_rolleyes.gif

nod.gif Much better than the closed system you and I know laugh.gif
BTW, may I ask what app are you using to terminate services? I use KillMe and I can assure you, it is absolutely safe. whistling.gif
Unless you go to kill those in "Unsure" tab... doh.gif

KillMe for me too. Been using it a lot, especially when using N97 not so long time ago.
Really helps in regaining some RAM as N97 is really prone to memory leak.
As I used my X6, I'm keeping the phone at the safe side. Minimum tinkering, and stability comes first for me. Ahh, just miles better than the crash prone N97.

Well, now I'm moving to N8 and N810 Internet Tablet combo, my inner geek started to roar once again laugh.gif
But N8, again, I'm keeping it at a relatively safe side. I need a reliable phone...and a camera too.

For my geeky paradise, my tablet is more than enuff. icon_rolleyes.gif

RM1030 is a good price found at Penang, what colour are you using? Siver or black?

silver. Have black phone before, but find it difficult to find when drop in night club. laugh.gif
So now try silver.
