Recently thinking of making a comeback to WoW after I quit 4 yrs ago. If I ever do I'll have to start fresh coz my acocunt has already been given away.

Is it worth to start fresh again after I left the game for so long? Most of the ppl playing would've gotten high-end gears & the trouble of learning everything back especially the raiding part; finding a Malaysian guild that's willing to accept newbie might be a challenge as well

Well...Everything will change in cata...Theres a split in the barrens...Alot of alliance and horde bases in all over the zones has changed...Everything has basiclly changed...Fresh start after 4 years??Same as you bro...I stopped at early 2009...Gonna continue in late 2010..after my PMR...Im having an 80 rogue with A piece of t7..

level 1-80, sure i can do this without any problem... but...doing professions is a pain in the butt, farming badges up..... looking for raid to join if i don't have guild would gear me up....

i'm also a 4-year quitter, but i came back recently as newb

to me, this 4 year have a few very big changes and i'm enjoying most of the changes, like dungeon finder! donno bout u tho. i'm not a raider, just enjoying leveling classes I haven't got to level b4 quitting.

the thing is every class got to do the same quest everytime xcept just few class specified, to get skill etc.
if only quests based on class/race, i wudnt mind roll teh ugly orcs =.=

its always worth it,

just spend some time to level-up your new char !

I'd think if I ever come back it would be after Cataclysm starts, since the entire leveling of 1-60 would be drastically different (I heard there's a follow up to Mankrik's wife, for example).

Anyway low level lvling is fast nowadays, managed to get my priest in Aman'Thul to lvl 44 in a week time hehe

1-60 is waaay faster now, the grind starts at 70-80

I'll probably come back very soon as patch 4.0.1 will be up today

lvl 1-60 quest around the changed world is pretty fun! I enjoyed leveling my Orc mage in beta server and the new deadmines is awesome!

my guild died because half the raid would DC'ed during boss at naxxramas25 at least 3x per day....LK fault bugger

the vanilla days we never dc ever and we are talking the broodlord room...AQ40 gauntlet... and when....

ALTERAC VALLEY IS AN ACTUAL WAR WITH RESOURCES BEING IMPORTANT GOD FUUCKING DAMNIT!!!

btw, these days lvling 1-70 is so easy you don't need to grind dungeons to lvl..hell you will looking at all those zones you SKIP disbelievingly and you will be asking yourself things like "you mean those quest run out once upon a time????"

Came back to WoW last week and almost Lv60 now as a gnome warrior. Could make a ding in Tanaris in 2 hours with quest stacking

It is very fast now but surely going to miss the classic days of WoW and AV.. 8 hours of endless fights

well as they add more new content which requires higher lvls, its normal for them to push away old content

those classic 40man raid

still remember how every1 tries to get rank1 in pvp lol

Oceanic realms are mostly over populated by hordes. That is why I am a human mage in Barthilas. It's like playing WoW in hard mode

vanilla is hard mode

MW is full of bulletproof, sprinting super soldiers that defies the law of physics

WoW has changed aloooooot, compare to 4 years ago,

it's totally different, and now easier than b4 i think,

make a lv 80 doesnt take you long, and get a full set good gear also alot easier

if u can use old acc, it's better, save you alot, it also worth to start fresh if you dont mind

also wow is no longer a job. it will only gets better with Cata.

It means something when you have outplayed and outlasted hundreds of other mmos. Wow is still one of the top in its league

It is the pioneer and benchmark in the league of MMORPG.

Benchmark, yes. Pioneers, not really.

Pioneers in certain technology, like phasing tech etc, it is not the ancestors of MMORPG, WOW is more like the Hero class of MMORPG

4 year ago my lvl 60 warlock got hack by some idiot!! just bought my new cd for wow and burning crusade will be joining back! heheh!!!

and as a matter of fact, WoW merely copied from other MMORPGs

what made them stand out is their constant non stop polishing, and the fact that they actually listen to players, be it the majority or minority (of course, not everything. else you can see QQ'ers getting off with imba PVP w)
