do not worry so much about them
i diligently follow this routine:

when u are awake, wake ur marimo family too~
so place them in container and leave them on table
AWAY FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT

when u r about to sleep,
take em out from container, give them ur love and affection
by gently massaging them
them place them into their container bed
and
PLACE THEM IN FRIDGE SPA
as recommended by kioko126
it really helps!

other things to take notice:
1) since i do not use any filter, i hv to make sure water in container is always fresh
= walls of container x greasy feeling, yucks!

2) i bought a rm5 submersible thermometer and placed it in their morning container
so that when temp goes above limit, i'll drop in ice cubes as recommended by leeyung
