I'm not sure this thread should be here or if there any threads about home renovations as we speak. I'm a person that loves my home so much, that I almost re-decorate it on monthly basis. I also clean my room every week as well.
But recently, I'm thinking to renovate my whole home and it's an apartment. I need some suggestion and also advise from experiences people/sifus.
There is few things in my mind right now, Plaster Ceilings, Grills, Window, Air-cond.
With 4 points above^, which should go first and which should be the last one???
Thanks a lot and hope we can share and exchange info between each others.

But it should be much better than what I have now. At least one sides of the sliding window can be open fully.

QUOTE(cwhong @ Sep 22 2010, 11:51 AM) i think they block the window bcoz of security reason.... normally this practice in condo or highrise building so if you have install grill for the window then i think you can dismantle the screw that blocked the opening angle..... you check it up first, then u will know what to do... Yeah, security reason. I will need to install grill, because window alone won't help much. I need to change the window for privacy reason also. I'm looking to change windows that can block people from outside seeing inside. So that even when the curtain is not down, I can still change my cloth Guess I'll do the Grill and Window first, and then Air-con and Plaster Ceiling should be the last to do.

QUOTE(night @ Oct 13 2010, 04:46 PM) The moment you turn on your room light, people can easily see you from the outside while you won't be able to see them. My house windows had this reflective layer in which morning till evening, no one from the outside will be able to see the inside. When night falls, everythin changes. You'll still need a curtain unless you're changing clothes in the morning or either turn off your light when you're changing at night. Yeah, Curtain will be draw during night and also window will be closed anyway. This is to prevent bugs from coming in during night.
