Sharp Aquos Quattron 46" LED, Any other alternatives?

Hi guys, i am choosing a television for my dad. Time for a big upgrade from a 29" CRT. He loves the design of the Sharp Aquos Quattron 46" after seeing it in stores. It is a LED TV ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hSnAxvRdmY ). We were quoted around $5000 for the Aquos Quattron.
I personally prefer a cheaper and more popular Samsung C550/530 because the only thing this family does on a TV is to watch it 2-3 hours a day (i might buy a PlayStation 3 soon though). We are idiots when it comes to buying televisions. Any suggestions? One thing i have to admit, the Aquos screen is simply stunning, especially it's yellow.  |

Are you sure Rm 5k for 46" Quattron Sharp LED tv ? or is 40" ?

Wow its really good price....at that price for a Sharp LED, u need more opinions??? Sharp is one of the best there is already...one of the few manufacturer of LCD screen and its screen is truly made in japan.
Go for it, no need alternatives anymore, u wont regret!  |

I dont think this is right. Im sure its around 6.5K with FOC BD player, the last time I check. I finally went for the Samsung 46" LED with no freebies for the same price. If u can get it for 5K buy it straight away but make sure not disp set?

i dont think its MYR5000.But for 40" yes,MYR4999.

Yah too cheap for Quattron, it's either lower series or 40" for that price.
Personally I don't like Quattron picture, but if your dad likes it - go for it! |
