Just bought it from celcom blue cube, with 12 months contract at RM498 thumbup.gif
Overall performance not bad, very smooth and no lagging at all. Much more better than my previous nokia laugh.gif
Charging the phone right now, can't wait to test it later wub.gif

no contract needed? means i can jsut walk in celcom and buy the phone like any other phone shop? no strings attached? no requirements?
thts good news

very much interested in this phone but cant seem to find it.
*
Yup, you may buy the phone straight away without any contract. For the 1st time I also want to buy the phone only. But after think about that it is worth to get the phone with data plan. Somemore they will discount the phone price for you thumbup.gif
LG shop still no stock yet. LG staff said most probably will arrive on next week wink.gif

Last night i tried to download some xmas live wallpaper, the effect very nice. But it will slow down the response speed of the phone. Still prefer to use the original live wallpapers. smile.gif
Is there any way to setup the application using the wifi connection, instead of 3G connection? icon_question.gif

the only thing that I frustrated about LG Optimus One: battery drain quite fast.

lot of background synchronize activity, refresh news, FB, twitter, wheather, sure it consume lot of battery but what the use of smartphone if I turn the sync off? some more, brightness set to only 30%. I did very little call/sms because already have primary phone. I jadi frust sebab I baca GSMarena they said battery tahan lama. problem ni my unit saja ke? how's yours?

other than battery issue, this device real snappy.
*
Its normal case for smart phone. If you open the 3G connection will drain faster. Maybe you can set to 2G mode only if you're not using any data connection.
And only turn on the 3G connection when you wish to use the internet etc..
Mine can last slightly more than 1 day, with normal call & sms usage, gaming, music, plus keep on searching nice application on android market laugh.gif

Any user tried GPS locking? I was informed it comes with NDrive, does it work well compared to Papago?

Really need input on GPS as my main requirement is fuss free navigation.
Anyway, great to see accessories available.
*
I tried NDrive, but it take some time to locked the satellite.
And I just install M7 Papago, only take few seconds to obtain the signal and ready for navigate laugh.gif

Hi all, I'm a newbie here. I just bought the phone from sungei Wang stall. I have a few question here, why I cannot track my location using gps as it comes out with an error code? And can you tell me the camera of this phone is 3.0 or 3.2? As it is written 3.0 at the camera lens there. Thanks
*
Did you turn on the GPS? Just click on GPS icon on notifications bar.
3.0 MP. should be enough for normal usage.
Last week I snap some photo at Midvalley with xmas decoration, transfer to pc and found out that picture quality not bad and acceptable nod.gif

anybody can help me step by step to upgrade from V10c to V10e
*
Connect USB cable between your phone and computer.
On your phone select turn on the mass storage.
Enter memory card, select LGPCSuiteIV, launch LGInstaller.exe
install the pc suite. Once it done, PC suite will auto launch, select for the Update device.
Then PC suite will search for the update. If update is ready for your phone, just click on update.
And PC suite will remind you to backup your phone, is up to you. I select update without backup.
All my data still remain.
Thats all icon_rolleyes.gif

ndrive takes up 600+mb, papago also takes up 600+mb. so i believe better u remove either 1 gps software, depends on ur preference. happy.gif
*
Agreed nod.gif
Personal I prefer papago, because of 3D map. thumbup.gif
Ndrive just pure 2D, and map also not that attractive enough.
So I remove Ndrive tongue.gif

Papago M7 overall performance very good, able to obtain GPS signal within few seconds. But interface only available in chinese language.
But then I still vote for Papago wink.gif
