Nvr use HTC phone b4, not very sure how good is the HTC Sense UI..
from what i can c, many ppl will root their htc phone n install with custom ROM which is considered a better choice..

Yes, a lot of people root their phone to install custom ROMs, including me,
but custom ROM doesn't necessarily means no Sense UI,
there are plenty of custom Sense ROM particularly for HTC phones,
you can try different types of custom ROM, e.g MIUI, AOSP,
that's one of the many strength of Android, you don't like it, switch, plenty room for customization,
and yea there are people who prefer the vanilla Android UI, or even the iPhone like MIUI rom,
but still there are people who tried out these ROM and in the end found that they still prefer Sense ROM,
just take a look at Desire thread.
I'm not saying that Sense UI is the best or anything,
but just trying to tell you why its slightly more expensive than other similar spec phones,
don't blindly assume that HTC phones are overpriced.

Hey guys, got a question.

Apparently the red LG O1 I got is already updated to 2.2.1, which means I can't root it using z4root. (boo)
I'm going to flash it back to a version that is able to be rooted soon, but my questions is...

What would happen to the apps and everything if i flash it to an older firmware? I don't wanna lose my Papago, Ndrive and all.
Starting to love it.
