QUOTE(x_far_x @ Dec 11 2010, 01:34 PM) Is the Chic coming out too or just the Optimus One at the moment? The Optimus One is getting Gingerbread btw... Either someone made a mistake in that Facebook post or it was the public outcry, but the LG Optimus One P500 will be allowed to enter the Gingerbread house after all. The whole 1GHz processor speed requirement turned out to be a mistake.Gingerbread on Optimus -FaR Another day, another LG Optimus One news. Just a couple of days a go bad news came by way of the LG Mobile USA Facebook page - no Android 2.3 Gingerbread for the LG Optimus One, citing a "1GHz minimum" requirement by the new OS. It was quickly rebutted on Twitter by a member of the Android team and LG admitted the announcement was premature and said they are waiting on an official compatibility document. Now, LG has issued an official Public Notice apologizing for the confusion and have confirmed that they will upgrade the LG Optimus One P500 to Gingerbread. They didn't give any specific target date for when this will happen but current and future Optimus One owners (including all its carrier-specific variations) can breathe a sigh of relief. Presumably, the update will be available for the LG Optimus Chic E720, which has the same specs as the Optimus One (the ones that matter anyway). Anyway, whatever caused the "misunderstanding" has been resolved, and the Optimus One has become an even better bargain than before. please read careful ... allow to enter gingerbread house but dun know when..... QUOTE(allenultra @ Dec 12 2010, 03:34 PM) Well, I'm ok with that though. budget phone is like that ... stick with froyo also nice already if u really care for gingerbread ... nexus s is d best phone and i think desire Z o desire HD and d GALAXY S series will support since it fit all d RUMOUR REUIRMENT FOR GINGERBREADA budget phone with froyo running on it while most major brands still stuck with eclair, slowly rolling out froyo upgrade to their phones. SE android series even more pathetic, just upgrading to Eclair recently. Btw, when do u think HTC and Samsung Android series gonna get Gingerbread? I reckon earliest will be June 2011 or even later. They are just releasing the froyo update lately. |

QUOTE(zeroty @ Dec 13 2010, 09:47 PM) or u may say like this: bro rm50 already counting for d cel exc plan (voice+sms) then d 28 is data plan (rm38-10)Total payable - 1444 minus Phone RRP - 899 left RM545 which means you are paying 545/12= RM45.42 per month for RM50 credit and 1GB data usage 844 we pay for device and 12month 1gb data ustage lol.. if u need a new phone+data package counting a nice deal since u bought d phone also same around that price but d celcom are offering a data plan for u (1gbx12) |

QUOTE(Louisfung99 @ Dec 14 2010, 09:58 AM) This calculation is according to my minimum usage which is within RM50 for monthly phone bill. as my view ..... if u a user who need postpaid service and need a extra data plan 1gb ... this a best deal for u ... but if u are a lite user on prepaid user and dun wana 2 data plan .. u should straight away to buy d phone if u need itCase 1 ( Buy phone first(ORI) + monthly Phone bill) RM899+(RM50*12)=RM1499 Case 2 ( Take the celcom plan) RM 508+(RM78*12)=RM1444 Which mean I can save RM55 for the phone(ORI) plus free monthly 1GB. |
