QUOTE(bearbear @ Jan 29 2011, 11:28 PM) guys im eyeing this or the SE X10 All I can say is satisfactory, I don't know if compared to X10 how it will perform, but compared to iphone 3gs it's about the same.can gv me a rough idea on the touch screen responsiveness of this model against X10? i've tried the X10 and is ok with it, this is miles cheaper and with updated firmware which makes me wonders again. Just a rough idea of it against X10 will do Thank You QUOTE(kamechi @ Jan 29 2011, 11:39 PM) The shop people failed |

QUOTE(pauerxi @ Jan 29 2011, 11:48 PM) void?what so special about it?what is the benefit of rooting?i think i miss a lot of update here..huhu Unrooted phones = normal forum usersRooted phones = forum admin Void stripped down the loads of crapwares given in the original LG firmware. On top of that it boosted the phone CPU to over 700Mhz. Combine that with the amount of memory you have regained by discarding those apps, your phone will be much, much faster and smoother, allowing you to play high demand games such as NFS Shift without lag and smooth graphic. |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Jan 31 2011, 01:35 PM) then how about the lg pc suite leh ? Just download from the Internet, store the installer in your 16GB SD card, whenever you want to use the LG Suite, just connect your phone and install the software.is inside the microsd wo this one sure got use another question,if to those straight buy 16gb how they got the apps which already in 2gb microsd ? Most apps are already installed in the phone memory instead of the 2GB SD card. Most of the apps are junk anyway. |

Is this your first smart phone? Just connect the phone to computer via the USB cable and an option will appear on your phone to enable mass storage mode.

I doubt you can install the custom ROM properly with the supplied SD card. It's problematic and will face frequent mount/dismount problem.

QUOTE(LightningFist @ Feb 1 2011, 12:55 AM) Guys I plugged my phone to the PC and I can't read the phone... "installation did not happen correctly" or something like that. Install the LG Phone USB driver correctly. A lot of people overlook this problem, thinking if they can use the phone in mass storage mode, that means the driver is correctly installed. What should I do? |

I bet you all installed many apps that it makes your phone to lag. I don't install unnecessary apps like fast boot, launcher blah blah.
QUOTE(justnits @ Feb 5 2011, 04:06 AM) mushy, need to ask u, to upgrade void.delta to void.echo, do i have to go through all the steps from step 1, step 5 or step 10? Nope, you should start from:i want all my settings, widgets, contacts and messages to be intact when flashing to void.echo. need your advice on this. CODE 8. Connect the USB to your phone, transfer the .void ROM (zipfile) to SD root. Disconnect the USB cable, and reboot. 9. Boot into System Recovery again (power, low volume and home button). 10. Select Flash menu, choose the .void ROM, and initiate flashing. 11. Reboot, and this time it will take a while (around 5 minutes for first boot). 12. Should be running on .voiD (or any custom ROM) by now. However, please install Titanium Backup, then select "Backup all user apps + system data" before flashing the new version. Since it is a mere upgrade of the same ROM, after you have flashed the new version, install Titanium Backup again and select to run "Restore missing apps + all system data". Reboot. |

I am. It's not such a big jump and you can barely feel it. It's ok if you don't update to echo.

The back panel maybe (even then, it will be only if someone decided to create it). I just don't see how you can change the front bezel.
