shud be no problem.. my previous phone (vivaz) i always set connection to 2g as i dont need 3g..
no problem receiving/sending mms..
*
sad to say that.. it's not possible...
you need to turn on the mobile network in order to send/receive mms.. by turning this on, it means that there will be background data transfer/etc goin on.. and you will be charged by data transfer if you don't have internet package..
thts y many new user not aware bout this and later they will be rclxub.gif when they c their bills..

I never know sending / receiving mms will incur data charges as well. rclxub.gif
I thought it's counted per mms sent and receiving mms would be free of charge.

I also feel the big different with 2.2.1 update. Even with wifi on, its still consume less juice. 9hrs wifi on
still on 68%. upgrade strongly recommended. Install the PC suite and just follow the guide.

last night i update my p500 to 10e from c but not complete. When i check with lg updater it say my firmwire is up to date to 10e, But in my phone information it say 10c. How to solved it. please help me

how should i say...
we need to turn on the mobile network in order to receive/send mms.
there will be no charges for the data transfer for mms..
but then.. when we turn mobile network on, other app may do background data transfer/update thru the net which we may not be aware of.
this is what i face before when i just turn on the mobile network and i check my bill and i'm being charged for the internet usage.

A 2G network with GPRS is enough for MMS. Even my old K750 can do that. Charge per MMS.

mms wont be charged for data.. but there are apps that constantly updating in the background once we activate the mobile data.. either on 2g or 3g..

I did not say MMS will charge for data. I meant charge per MMS sent. My intention was to reply that a 2G alone is capable of receiving MMS. On your apps traffic, I have no idea but turning notification off could helps.

Hi all, I'm a newbie here. I just bought the phone from sungei Wang stall. I have a few question here, why I cannot track my location using gps as it comes out with an error code? And can you tell me the camera of this phone is 3.0 or 3.2? As it is written 3.0 at the camera lens there. Thanks
