I got kinda similar situation, so I did a manual flash. Note that do it at your own risk.

Things to check before proceeding:
-Phone is fully charged
-Phone is completely off (remove battery and reinsert it again to make sure)
-USB driver for the phone is installed (just connect the phone to PC)

1. Download the v10e firmware from here.
2. Download KDZ Updater from here.
3. Extract files from the KDZ Updater file, then install msxml.msi
4. Turn on phone, and connect it to PC via the USB cable.
5. Run KDZ_FW_UPD, select type as 3GQCT and Phone Mode as Diag, and choose the v10e ROM downloaded.
6. Run the software and let it update.

**NOTE**
-At some point your phone will display Emergency Mode! message with yellow background, don't bother, it is part of the process.
-Phone may reboot at some point
-Check the parameter in the software, the last entry will tell you that the flashing is completed.
-First boot after the flashing will take a longer time, so don't worry if it stuck at 'Android' secreen.

Well, the reason why you need to do manual flashing is because auto update doesn't work for you, just like how it didn't work for me. I took the risk and I managed to do it successfully in one attempt.

Any car charger with micro USB end will do, and same as the travel charger, any charger with micro USB end.

You were using the official LG updater? You can try hard reset it (forgot which button, just google it).

Or you can try manual flashing.

If you already downloaded the v10e firmware, then flashing should take around 10 minutes only.

You are supposed to attempt update via LG PC Suite IV.

In any case it still doesn't work, try this method. At your own risk.

Klang Valley got more stocks these few days, so better grab it fast. The RM808 also provides shipping, or you can easily ask any reliable members here to get it for you. Lowyat shops are still selling between RM850-RM900 for basic package.

The RM808 shop is really a steal, with free screen protector, pouch and car charger. I spent another RM18 for epikcase, then RM42 for 8GB micro SD, very close to RM870 which many shops in LYP are selling the basic package at that price.

It's charcoal black, fit nicely with black color of O1. I'll post some pics later.

Like email updates (your google account for example), location and weather updates etc. If you have wifi connection then it will be free, if you don't, then it will use telco data connection which is very expensive. I only tick the Background data.

Application in settings is good enough to me. Clear cache, data, stop services and tasks with easy click.

Nope it's entirely up to you. I just don't like to clutter my phone with so many apps when the given one can do the jobs well done. Why fix when it's not broken?

To those who inquired about the Epik Case, here I took some pictures. Mine is black.

I think it's going to be really weird.... better stick to the color of the phone which is black, but suit yourself

Were you referring to the epik case of the phone colors? There's a clear white epik case, but as for the phone color, I doubt we can easily find other colors except for black

No idea... I personally prefer the blue color, but there's only black available.

Yes, my Apacer 8GB HC has no incompatibility problem with the phone and the synchronization to PC.

Hmm guys I want to ask, which custom ROM is recommended to replace the stock OS?

I can transfer files from and to my PC via BT flawlessly. I haven't tested with other phones though.
