Already out.

It's targeted at those normal consumer like girls la, not prosumer or photographers. How many pros out there would choose sony over the other big 2? rolleyes.gif

Because size and weight of SLR cameras has always been an issue for girls, so sony decided to make it light and small instead of big, heavy and bulky. Meanwhile, they also throw in some new stuffs like translucent mirror ma, so those girls show off to their pns user friends, and can camwhore silently, no mirror flipping loud sounds. brows.gif

Try and hold the 2 SLT yourself, the grip doesn't fit a guy's hand one la. wink.gif

True laugh.gif
But actually I tried before la. Called Nikon and they actually have record for every serial number. Over 1 year, they will keep it in archive !

Haha... laugh.gif

I mean, when the camera was in for service once, you almost cannot fool them about the date of purchase, at least you can't fool them much... biggrin.gif

BTW, I'm busy on weekend, then today I want to get my D7000 but it is now out of stock....! cry.gif

I think you should do more research, fast lens usually cost a lot.... smile.gif
Of course it depends which lens you are looking for...?
The "cheapest fast lens" would be 50mm f/1.8... laugh.gif

f1.8 50mm good one...i haf exising f1.8 35mm, but when i try to shoot in low light environment, the outcome is dark, when try to set ISO 1600 (Max for D3000), the outcome is blur..noise!

Therefore, for low light condition, fast lense or D7000 (ISO 6400) will help me the best?? *despite the budget first.
*
If f/1.8 still not wide enough for you, then the maximum you can get is f/1.4.... just a little gain.... sad.gif

In this situation, I believed you need a really low-noise camera more than a f/1.4 lens as f/1.4 won't help you much... blush.gif

Of course, at the end, only you will know what you need the most... smile.gif

GK, i totally agree with you. F1.4 really doesnt help me much ...not only me..but for most of those with beginner camera..

High ISO, Low noise = D7000.

In fact...i been waiting for the launch of D7000. Perhaps, i should just buy the body to save some money...and for time being, just use back the D3000 kit lense, 18-55mm F4.5.

I hope D7000 will help me to what I wana achieve..
*
Yup, get the body only (RM3,800) will be fine... by the way, the camera already launched, but already sold off in most of the camera shops... cry.gif

Anyone know whether Nikon Malaysia (officially) giving away any free gift for purchasing the D7000 body?
Maybe DSLR bag and/or a SD card? smile.gif

Thanks for the advise.... smile.gif

I'm not very concern about brand new or not because the shop I go regularly don't even have a demo set left... haha... First batch of the stock already gone, now waiting for Nikon to send in second batch... But regarding tge free gift, I ask here because if they try to tell me no free gift, then I can insist on getting it... hehehe...

Now I'm just waiting for the surprise phone call... smile.gif
