what did you buy? what brands participated?

bought essie, canmake, some brush, some overseas cosmetics , 2 sister magazine....

are they much cheaper then? i mean canmake

i have the same range of canmake stuffs that you bought. haha! how cheap is cheap? how much did you buy your canmake stuffs for? asience hair treatment, i bought it months ago and i am still having it with me. haven't finished using it. haha!

ohh.. i see.. i hope all these canmake stuffs from the expo are not those that are going to expire soon. haha! i mean those buy 2 free 1 stuff. usually those that you bought are new and those free 1 stuff is the one they have it a while ago and they need to clear the old stock out.

HABA is my fave brand and there was a time they had this buy 1 free one promotion for cosmetic. i wanted to buy their lip gloss because i love their lip gloss.. so, i went for the promotion. the sales assistant told me only certain code for lip gloss has the free 1 promotion. so, when said i want to buy this and free that.. i was happened to choose both codes from the free 1 category. so, the sales girl asked me to choose buy 1 from the other category and free 1 from another category. what i mean is, the buy 1 category is new stock and free 1 category are all old stock.

so i bought it.

few months after, which was just recently, i threw away that free 1 lip gloss and i hardly use it yet. because it has gone bad. it had a kind of funny smell to it already. sigh~ so, can't deny that those free 1 stuffs are usually old stock and they need to clear it out badly.

recently watsons are having buy 1 particular KATE eye shadow, get 1 particular KATE eye shadow for free. Then a consumer complaint to watsons that when she went to one of the watsons for this promotion, the staff told her that the one that she was holding are not entitled for that promotion because Kanebo hasn't send them the free 1 items yet. So, again.. this shows.. perhaps those free 1 stuffs are darn old stock and they need to clear it badly before it goes bad.

when things goes too cheap... we all know the quality!!! im asking the person who owned it... he said those cheap de may last for 1 year... hehe...
and of course... i checked the expired date!!!!

and today i went.... the new collection of canmake got buy 1 get one free!!!! for example the latest cream cheek, eyeshadow..... hehe.....

hmmm usually japanese products do not print their expiry date on their cosmetics though ^^; so, you sure canmake does have the expiry date printed on it? hehe!

urgh! i can't go this time.. will wait for the next expo then T__T
