It will be launched on this upcoming Thursday. Playing the iphone version in 2x scaling mode works just fine for me. I wonder is there any exclusive content for iOS version compared to DS? Already beat it on NDS few years back.

Seeing the monkeys kind of reminds me of Tiki Towers. Different play style but it involves monkeys. I wonder how many of us still play that game.

Need some recommendations for 8~10 year old kids.

I'm kinda outdated from the latest apps. But here's the list of apps that I think might be suitable for your kids (these apps are found on my iPod Touch 2nd gen which I haven't updated since 1 or 2 years back.)

Accelerometer based game
Up There
Tilt the device and see how high will the balloon goes.

Hydrotilt XL
Tilt to make the water reach the end goal. Water can take various shapes.

Scoops
Stack the ice cream and see how high will it goes. Stack high enough and you'll get to see the space. Haven't been able to see Pluto.

Sky Burger
Same play style as Scoops but you need to stack ONLY the listed ingredients. Good to heighten up object recognition skill.

Labyrinth / Labyrinth 2
It's just like the actual labyrinth board game, in virtual.

Line drawing
Jelly Car
Draw various shape to help the car reach the goal.

Skybound
The objective in this game is simple, draw a line to bounce the ball as high as you could.

Object finding
Alphabetic
Finds the letters from A-Z in the fastest time possible. A list of achievements is there to brag about.

Puzzle
TanZen
Match the silhouette of the objects by rotating the pieces.

Fingeric
Memory training game. Unique play style.

Frenzic
Best to train color recognition skill.

Tiki Towers
Become a director and see the monkeys swing.

Misc.
Sneezies
Pop and see how far will the sneeze goes. The sneezing sound is very cute.

Sway
Using both fingers and SWAY the puppet from one point to another. Highly recommended.

[B]Other games that are self-explanatory if you're keep tracking the apps recently.
Lane Splitter
Doodle Jump
Flight Control
Cut the Rope
Angry Business Man
Run Like Hell!
Slice It!
NinJump HD
Paper Toss HD
Fieldrunners
Feed Me Oil
Fruit Ninja
Harbor Master
