both dead trigger and amazing spiderman got 2/5 review from toucharcade
I have both, so let me give my honest review.
Amazing Spider-man. Very nice open concept and decent gameplay. Personally not much different to the first spider-man game but good job on the visuals. Zero lagg issue is a bonus. DOWNSIDE: Controls are a mess and really is troublesome. Certain events can only be done by pressing the web-sling button which only comes up conveniently when you're facing it at a certain angle. This is a big hassle for gameplay. Still, I manage to finish the game (err, I mean my 5 year old son) within 2 days. Can't say its too short because there's lots of challanges you can do, but limited to jumping, swinging, searching for bombs and hitting baddies.
Overall, its 2/5 review from toucharcade is justified. Only get this if you're 5 year old. You'll be critical about this game on so many levels. As for the storyline, it doesn't snyc with the movie at all. Instead, they created a totally different storyline with the Lizard in it. With no prospect of mutiplayer or future updates, consider this as a one-off to simply sooth the avid fans of Spider-man.
DEAD TRIGGER
I'm hooked on this. Seriously, I even bought them IAPs for a total of USD13 bucks (don't judge me).

Can't say I'm too dissapointed. They game simply looks so awesome and I can't recall how many countless times I feel goosebumps whenever a zombie got grab of me. It just feels so freakin SCARY (or probably I'm just scared shytless most of the times). Top A in graphics and audio. The game has LOTS of potentials for future updates seeing this game tops the most grossing apps at the moment. I doubt they'll include multiplayer in the future, but if they do, oh man this gotta be hands on the best FPS game in the IOS. At the moment, IAP is the biggest drawback for this game. THAT IS ALL.
Seriously, if this game is made premium you won't hear complaints from people paying $8.99 for this top notch game, but because its $0.99, that is why you hear lots of users being critical and feeling scammed in the process. Honestly, no one is pulling anyone's arm. If you're into FPS and love a good graphic game with engaging gameplay, consider Dead Trigger as your next purchase and put aside some extra cash to get them IAPs. Don't believe the bullshit about users who can survive the game WITHOUT any IAPs. To do that, you probably need to play around 100 scenes if you want to afford the next gun.
