GTX 260M is still a pretty good card, juz lacks DX11...

but honestly, if not for the Full HD monitor, sth along te line of HD5600/HD5700 and GT 335M/425M is already good enuf... even my HD4650 still can handle games pretty well @ 1280x720...

that's becuz they face less competition in MY...

in US there's Asus ROG series, Sager, MSI G series, Falcon Northwest, etc etc...

but over here, even Asus ROG itself is also so expensive... of course Dell can safely set a higher price...

as much as buying power defines price, so does company policy...

for all that u know, Dell (or Dell MY/Dell SEA) may juz want to keep AW as a premium product line... they juz want to ve enuf ppl to own it so that ppl are aware of it, but not too many so as too differentiate from XPS/SXPS...

especially in a place where the general purchase power is low, all the more this makes AW more premium among all the models in the market... this in turn creates the illusion that AW good = Dell good = more ppl buy Dell...

u can consider Acer Aspire Ethos 5943G... but take note it's HD5850 is only GDDR3...

import option there's MSI G660R, HD5870...

if can wait, Asus G53Jw, GTX 460M, need to import also...

hmm... how does one of the best sounds???

build is real solid... only complain would be the lack of blink blink (yeah, it has a real boring look)...

desktop is always more value if u DIY...

remember to throw in CM HAF 932 chasis...
