Wanna ask that whether alienware laptop m11x, m15x or m17x, do they have a recovery partition which can be access from "repair my computer" after pressing F8 a.k.a. the entrance of Safe mode?
Like other dell laptop, they do practice this method so we can just Recover from there to factory setting.

Else can only be done by the Windows 7 Disc or backup of AlienRespawn ?

Just went to disk management and saw there's a "RECOVERY" partition there. Which means i can just press F8 and Repair/reformat from there to factory setting, is it? And with this, my alienrespawn wont gone eh ?

Anyone mind to tell me how to reformat m11x using the recovery partition? Hehe ... manually format i know but i want to back to factory setting with all those default driver 1st.

Btw, my laptop came with Alien Respawn.

Main reason: Update the nvidia driver 260.89 give me a lots of problem and now revert back making some of the games can only work in integrated graphic card even i white listed them, manually choose them play in Nvidia card also won't work.

So now just wanna format it and re-update those driver manually.

Er, mine alien respawn seem only tells me to make a backup disk/ recovery usb only cause it's not full version.

Ya, already did. But still not sure why Red Alert 3 Uprising cannot kick in Nvidia GPU after update the driver

Tried with other games like Starcraft 2, Bioshock 2, Just Cause 2, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 (<<-- Didn't even white list), Portal.
All seems no problem except Red Alert 3 Uprising

It was working fine when i was using 257.30 Driver. Now using 258.96 since 260.89 giving me headache.

Addon: the latest 260.89 WHQL problem was the new execution of NvXDSync.exe kept on crashing when i start a game. I think this thing still very buggy... Btw, the crashing only appear in the report under action center there, while gaming there won't be any problem. No crash during game or wad. Very smooth.

Yea, i also tried manually click on nvidia GPU, still same problem
Alt + tab out and check Nvidia GPU activity, it shows "NONE".
I played through steam which other games works fine.

258.96 WHQL driver.
Just now set the Global from Auto Select to NVIDIA GPU and ran the Uprising. Finally kicked in and ran the game smoothly ...
Somehow need to force whole laptop to run Nvidia GPU =.=ll

Haha ... that means that even white list RA3 uprising also no use

But how come 257.30 works while later driver wont, strange ...

257.30 was set to Integrated graphic that time as i dun wan the battery life to be so fast drained

Hope 265.xx driver works better ... with no bug..
And heard it fixes the punkbuster bug

i can run, but somehow the new application will crash when i run a game .. the one i mentioned just now "NvXDSync.exe", not sure what's this.

M11x can only use modded 258.96 though

Yea, dell site only updated to 257.30 WHQL and later driver must modded in order to be detected for M11x.

Until that day 260.89 WHQL released and can be supported on M11x, however this driver still kinda buggy ...

So now i switch to 258.96 modded inf (Simply download from official site won't detected the GPU on m11x as Nvidia didn't put the id into the inf. file)

Windows XP (this one not a problem i guess)
i5 M560 (<-- wow)

Why so different with others?
