Hey gurus,

tomolo ill be getting the corsair ssd force version & corsair ddr3 1333 4gb,

just wanna ask this brand is ok in terms of performance & durability?

or u guys suggest other brand?

thanks a lot
*
SSD dont go for corsai, go for OCZ. or original SSD from Dell, Samsung PM800, which perform better than any SSD in the market.
For RAM, dont waste money. use back original 1

Finally joining the ranks of the Alienware owners. My M11x just arrived a couple hours ago. I went with the i7, 4GB RAM (DIY upgrade later to 8GB) and 500GB HDD.

I figure in about a year's time when prices have come down and more options are available, I will switch the HDD to a SSD. One of these days, will pop by LYP for the RAM and a USB DVD-RW drive (or should I go for a BD-drive?).

Have picked out a new backpack. Now just need to decide on a good sleeve.
*
no need BD rom, waste money

still in the early stage... wait till the fiber line are congested... then u'll know... hehehehe... for now, enjoy the speed while it last...
*
i think so, im using UNfi VIP 10. speed is awsome, no delay in gaming, download torrent not really fast since some people upload rate low. as FTP download the speed is at 1.3MB/s

all the sifus here..i got some question here...I wanted to change the solid state drive instead using hard disk..any suggestion ?? should i get direct from dell when i customize my AW ?? and how about the performance ??

Added on November 28, 2010, 1:32 amand there is 1 more thing i still wondering..should i buy the ssd when i cuztomize it or is better i buy it outside and change myself ?
*
well, u can buy outside and change it. i would prefer the SSD provided by Dell which is Samsung PM800
Even OCZ vertex II also perform like shit

if u worry about changing, u can bring it to me, FOC, but SSD u have to buy urself, or buy from me(if u wan)
