Finally joining the ranks of the Alienware owners. My M11x just arrived a couple hours ago. I went with the i7, 4GB RAM (DIY upgrade later to 8GB) and 500GB HDD.

I figure in about a year's time when prices have come down and more options are available, I will switch the HDD to a SSD. One of these days, will pop by LYP for the RAM and a USB DVD-RW drive (or should I go for a BD-drive?).

Have picked out a new backpack. Now just need to decide on a good sleeve.
