Dunno la when N8 out, but can say within October can get already, i think. I already told the retailer to order for me once it is out. I heard the number of preorders are high and those preordered late will get in late Oct. That means not enuf stock. =.=

But, usually weatern country get Nokias later than Asian country (and we get Apple stuff later than western country)

Not sure, but in other countries, preorder online is just the same as shopping at other online stores, order and pay a certain amount of deposit. Can range between 10-25% of the price of the phone, depends on the seller and country. I juz told to retailer to get me one right after it is out, no need deposit, he only wrote down my orders.

Walao... dun tempt me lar... I ordered the black one (though green is my favorite color)... For me it's only BLACK/dark grey for gadgets (mp4player/phone/ipod/etc.), bit more class, except laptop.

I cannot tahan ady, but still want wait, cuz' i using dumbphone when my frenz are using smartphone.

In india got ppl get it already. =.= They say, dun buy from official nokia store, buy from grey market (that means buy from normal hp shop), they might get it earlier... Juz tell the shop u wan ori, not AP

Also got N73 ME but now i only use offline mode, use camera only (using dumbphone)... =.= And wtf, problems la after i use like 2 years, phone sometimes reboot/restart by itself. It's like, press on the top power button automatically when i din even touch, and select "power off" by itself... then restart again... a few times 1 day and battery also drain till botak... =.= Send to shop repair (reinstall OS and reformat) once before but ok 1 month only, then problem come back and get worse. Great camera, but open gallery damn lag.

Maybe i drop too much also... That phone like batu only, but who knows... Drop the N8? I dont care whether nokia test the phone by throwing it down 3 floors and still working onot, i wont drop it...
