Any1 know why all the coming model include N8 use the old 1200mAh battery ??
is it clearing old stock battery and make it user non-replaceable so can earn more bit from it ?? This post has been edited by ExHolyAngel: Sep 16 2010, 03:36 PM |

QUOTE Symbian don't need a fast processor, so 680Mhz will not drain battery so fast ... don't compare with other phone.. some more N8 have AMOLED can drain battery much slower u know... non replaceble so what... the half bite fruit also the same... |

QUOTE(BuFung @ Sep 16 2010, 04:14 PM) Is it not about the replace battery problem, it is odd about the old 1200mAh battery model used.Shud use a higher capacity 1, if wan to use same capacity also change a new slimmer model battery instead of old model. So might make ppl think of stock clearing and some kind to ways to prevent u to change it within the warranty period. Even you can change it after the warranty period by yourself, but some normal/business user dnt have free time to do that, nokia might earn quite a bit from there. And symbian dun need fast processor is just a damned excuses, if it really doesnt nid a faster processor , why would it lag in the N8 ? Dont tell me u watched so many videos of N8 , none of them is lag, the lag is obvious even though not so noticeable. But that's a lot compared to android 2.2 froyo phone out there. Especially when web browsing. This post has been edited by ExHolyAngel: Sep 16 2010, 04:45 PM |

QUOTE(Leo the Lion @ Sep 16 2010, 05:08 PM) Take example of windows, linux, mac. we should fix the OS as the constant variable becoz u said it is the OS drive the speed of hardware.Added on September 16, 2010, 5:10 pm Why the hardware if the current hardware ady make the os speedy like 1ghz phone? we fix the OS , then change the CPU, and we saw the speed increase. how about u put 1Ghz to the symbian and make it become 2Ghz ? funny ? the fact is there, use 2 years old cpu to cut the cost and increase the profit then bluff abt symbian 680mhz = android 1Ghz, same goes to the battery as well. QUOTE(ExHolyAngel @ Sep 16 2010, 06:12 PM) we should fix the OS as the constant variable becoz u said it is the OS drive the speed of hardware. You just don't understand do you? If the current hardware already make the OS speedy enough just like other 1ghz phone, then why need super hardware? For example, I have corei5 750 processor+windows 7 ultimate+8gb ddr3 RAM and compare with a friend of core 2 duo, Linux OS, 3gb ddr2. Both OS show same speed, just hardware is different.we fix the OS , then change the CPU, and we saw the speed increase. how about u put 1Ghz to the symbian and make it become 2Ghz ? funny ? If you want super hardware phone, you have to sacrifice the battery life. My SGS 1/2day use, battery already kong. Good hardware doesn't make OS gonna be good la. i mean same brand of CPU,lets say cortex a8 600mhz and 1ghz a8 cortex.for sure 1ghz a8 cortex is better.i desire more ghz and more ram.even symbian doesnt require that much.
