Wait for N8 release 1st then you can compare to N900.

if its like N8 vs E7 then still not sure and must compare
but N900 vs N8 its so far apart different OS different resolution different camera, different touch sensor, different storage capacity, Flash support also different and etc

There's strength and weaknesses in both phones It just depends on what strengths you want such that the strength can cross out the weaknesses of that phone

If i remember right Nokia X6 8GB is using blue box too
Also same colour, if middle/low class phone I don't mind the the ugly box colour, but N8 is high class than X6, the box should be more stylish and same like N900 box colour.

True Nokia N900 quite stylish black colour same as N97 box too

Based on what Nokia said, all phones will be using the blue box from now on for the sake of the environment and recycling the box should be easier in some sense. Even if they do use a different box for high end phones, it will most likely only be on the S series which I believe is like the 8800 that we have now, with all the bling and high cost materials.

Agree, they already cut cost in those handset with cheap accessory and also the quality of the handset.
