I dont see how I4 is expensive... 1690 for the phone + 1200 for plan.

If N8 cost 2k, and every month rm50, also need 2.6k compared to I4 2.9k but comes with internet for 1 years. Not to mention you wont rugi at all cos still can sell I4 next year for the almost the same price.

i'm new in this forum. after read a few pages, i found the term 'sgs'. actually what is sgs?
sorry if i ask a silly question, but i really cannot find it further..

and one more thing, i think i want to buy n8 (my 1st smartphone), and n8 got gps right? when we used gps, do we need wifi or does it consume any data? or is it free of charge?

I have changed my mind. The wait has taken its toll on my patience. Im getting samsung galaxy tab instead. Goodbye n8! If only Nokia can be smarter in its marketing strategy. Keeping your customers waiting for months is definitely the worst!

never... reason is simple... like if u use to winmo.. the platform r made for ppl there... a function as simple as phone book is in US style.. where Nokia origin from Europe..

Dunno la when N8 out, but can say within October can get already, i think. I already told the retailer to order for me once it is out. I heard the number of preorders are high and those preordered late will get in late Oct. That means not enuf stock. =.=

But, usually weatern country get Nokias later than Asian country (and we get Apple stuff later than western country)

btw, how to pre order n8? i read previous post, need go to nokia store and paid rm200 deposit. is it true?
or do we need to wait it launch pre order at nokia website like indonesia n other countries?

Not sure, but in other countries, preorder online is just the same as shopping at other online stores, order and pay a certain amount of deposit. Can range between 10-25% of the price of the phone, depends on the seller and country. I juz told to retailer to get me one right after it is out, no need deposit, he only wrote down my orders.
