It diffucult a task for a developer of open source software to meet users requirement or need for user friendly interfaces in their own preceptions thus good thing about open source software that u have full source codes which allow anyone can customised it to be user friendly though... biggrin.gif

I'm a squirrelmail users, with add-on plug-in such calendering, change user password ...etc.. visit the Squirrelmail for detalis list of plug-in u can have.

The interface is user friendly i think. And lots of function on its web interface, it just hog tons memory/processing of hardware it runs on, even with tweak/custom kernel/sysctl for specific mail server function.

Compare to squirrelmail/horde, openwebmail is far ahead i think.

I've been using openwebmail on several production mail servers with high-end branded hardware (HP proliant,Dell poweredge, clone machine as well) with tons of RAM, processing speed, tons of swap space and so on but in terms of speed, it's lack behind horde & squirrelmail. Even when you enable speedy_cgi.

I run openwebmail with postfix, amavisd-new, spamassasin, clamav. For me speedy_cgi haven't improve much coz it's perl, you know how perl thing digging the resources.

If u are having Jaring account, Jaring's webmail interface is based on Horde's IMP
