You do know that all the modes can be adjusted manually right? The images are a bit crappy when you use the default settings but you should see a noticeable improvement after you calibrate it properly.

Yeah, I agree. I have the R7 32 too. At first i was dissapointed too. But I manage to get a manual settings from some AV forum, and now it looks good. Combine it with Sony S76 upscale dvd player, it looks really good. I post my tv setting in audiophile section.
Sorry mod, really off topic here. tongue.gif

As requested by welwitchia, here are my settings:

Mode: Movie
Contrast: 75
Brightness: 65
Sharpness: 15/25
Color: 49
Color tone: warm during day, cool during night (your preference anyway)
Digital NR: off
Dynamic dimming: off
To turn off dynamic dimming, press "power off-info-menu-mute-power on" on your remote, press down untill you reach dynamic dimming, press right to turn it off. Than press exit button to finalise the settings. Turn off your tv and turn it on again. Done.

Basically its all up to your eyes. This is the best settings for me. You can tweak here and there to get your optimize settings.

ICDeadPeople : What power saving mode are u using : OFF, LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH..lemme guess, HIGH right?

Thx again!

Im using medium/high during night time and off during the day. The reason is because most of the time (at night) I watch my tv with minimal light, so if I didnt put it to medium/high, it will be too bright for me. Again it all depends on your preference, just put what ever comfortable to your eyes.
Do let me know what is your final setup, as I might try it too. tongue.gif
