I don't blame u man, let me tell you a short story...
before i'm doing research on speakers, i also dunno some of the brands...such as, Monitor Audio, Acoustic Energy, Martin Logan, Mordaunt-Short, Sonus Faber,....
I hv a chance to audition some of the speakers such as PolkAudio, AE Neo3, Wharfedale Diamond 9.6...all of them are great (all within my budget) but don't hv the oomph/power/bass and clearity that i hoped for...
So at A&L shop, i've auditioned the PSB Image T55, when i heard the sound for the first time, i know i'm already fall in love with it , but i'm still confuse bcoz i never heard the brand....
so i get back home, do some research on some av forums about PSB Speakers, much of a surprise, it is one of the top speakers brand in Canada and USA... many forumers there recommended this speaker...
so, i bought it...
My advice to buy a speaker, follow your ear's preference and not the brands.....just my 2 sen....
