Wanna get your opinions on this...

Which is better?

Panasonic Viera TH-L32X20K or Toshiba Regza 32AV700E?

Both are selling at RM1,199...


The Pana has an IPS panel and dynamic contrast of 20,000:1
whereas
the Toshi has 10-bit video processing and 50,000:1 dynamic contrast

Also the Viera has 3 HDMI inputs and headphone out,
the Regza has 4 HDMI and USB input.


On paper the Toshiba wins but I can't see much difference when viewing at the shops...

I can't decide between these two models and any opinions or user experience are welcome...

Toshiba Regza 32av700e has better contrast, more natural colors in my opinion. RM1199 - the price has really dropped since early 2009! Panasonic is better at plasma tv technology than lcd. Waiting to see how they will incorporate Kuro technology in their future plasma tv models since they bought over Pioneer.

I think all the entry level 32" LCD TVs are pretty much the same for normal use. Choose one with the features that you want and that you are happy watching. Most have 2 years warranty and the Toshiba also has all-risk insurance for the first year that covers fire, theft, lightning and general accident.

i think if you need to watch from side angle more, you will found the real advantage of the IPS panel.

Else ... i think go for Toshiba, it come with 1 yr full risk (theft/ lighting ,..etc.) ansurance

Using Toshiba REGZA LCD TV 32" 32AV700E rigt now...

Bought last week @ RM1280 + 3 yrs warrantty...

Very3 superb...... movie, gaming, explorer...

Resolution 1280 x 1024 ( vga@hdmi )

U'll not regret it....
