Hi all,

my cousin recently bought a recon Alphard from japan n the manual and setting is all in Japanese. The problem is we are underutilising the car because we cannot read the manual and how to test the function of the car.

We just try and test all the button,even the DVD or harddisk function to store songs in the car is hard to do.

So my question is,

1) is there any way to convert the language to English and what is the normal price for that?

2) Do i need to change the console or ECu of this car for it?

I am really seeking for help because i have no idea what to do and most of the shop does not have the knowledge for it.

Really aprreciate if anyone can help me out

my family got use harrier also recond japan.. manual is in japanese.. as well as da LCD language including aircond control n buttons.. we juz do trial n error. after few months, used to it already.

however, u can always change to new head unit. i think alphard HU can be easily changed compared to harrier..

thanks fr the answer.i did test it out bt theres so mny function bt we juz used the normal function..the complicated ones nvr tried it becoz lots of combonitaion buuttons.

would like to noe if anyone noes HU unit price fr n alphard..

yeah, there r lots of functions. but does it includes air cond control? if got ac control, i think u cannot change. if for ICE only, u can get aftermarket 2din HU. Can also get those wiv malaysian gps.. try n search in mudah.my, i think i came across alphard replacement HU (english)
