any recommendation for a 50 inch and above lcd or plasma, if possible led tv available?
with budget of RM7000~8000..
btw, what is the advantages of lcd over plasma?

LCD

1.low power consume
2.slim

Plasma

1.good black level
2.no problem if u view from any angle
3.cheaper

but consume more power than LCD or LED

what about led tv?

i think this price can get 3d...Correct me if i'm wrong

LED almost the same with LCD,but better black level and new technology.
i just bought Samsung UA40C6900 ..its a LED tv series 6.Worth of my money.

Panasonic P50v20k plasma, full hd tv approx RM5.5k
Toshiba 55zv600e lcd, full hd tv approx RM7.3k

Price may vary slightly depending on warranty/insurance period, service level at outlet. Check out the Panny and Toshiba threads in this forum for useful comments. Year end 2010 approaching, new models for 2011 may be announced in a few months' time. May get good bargain for this year's model.

and also thinner. basically LED is also LCD, just the backlighting. LED consumes less energy
