It's because Sampras' record isn't good enough.
I doubt Federer's will be broken any time soon; and hopefully it will last longer a bit, at least until the next gen. of new players.

Some strings feedback:-

1.Dunlop Explosive :
advantage: durable, no string movement, fairly cheap.
downside: inelastic, not so recommended for spin players, not so much feel.

2.Tf BlackCode:
advantage: durable, no string movement, decent spin and feel, soft.
downside: a bit pricey.

3.Dunlop "juice"(released 10 Oct)
copoly, pentagonal
advantage: durable, no string movement, decent spin, plays quite similar to BlackCode but there's something missing(i duno hw to describe)
downside: a bit harder than BlackCode, price unknown yet

4.Dunlop "DNA"(released 10Oct)
premium multi
advantage: powerful, less string movement compared to other multi
downside: string moves, harder than other multi, price unknown

@klboy: DNA is quite nice. Wait til 10Oct then. Hehe

I think C-fire better lar, but if the ball is wet, bye bye for your c/fire. Haha. C-fire has better ball bite and spin. But I think BlackCode nicest of all, soft and lively.

owh haha.. blackcode is very nice for slicing and drop shots, suits my game. hahahaha..

did u do what unkle prae suggested? leave the string for 24hours after stringing? ahh.. I can play with blackcode for 2months and still dowanna go restring.... other strings, wanna rip them off in a few sessions. ><

Today played a match, where I control my power, hits softer than usual except my serve which i go all out; and it surprises me, I actually got the game back to back with an experienced player, 4-3 (his turn to serve, cant cont, raining) He broke me once.

Usually when play doubles against him, we will be held at 1 or 0; but now in singles,(he's quite good too) I actually can compete with him. I hit more winners compared to when I was banging all the balls; and I commit less errors now. in this game, it seems like I forced more errors out of him than I committing suicide.

So glad my game improved so much when I play my game control-oriented. my friend says it's boring(he's watching d game), but i feel GOOD. =))
I hit more winners, commit less unforced error, and I gain respect from the player on the other side of net.
