Just finished watching Djokovic - Federer match.

I reckon Nadal is on the verge to become the 7th man to win career slam.

well, Fed is a damn good tennis player but i guess he is indeed human and 2010 1 GS for Fed is already a good result compare to others, lets see 2011 which GS he will add to his collection.

Djoker and Nadal......well, its obvious Nadal will take it la, not going to watch it as i think it will be a one sided game kua....i may be wrong also....let us see.

Hmmmm I watched both matches, Youzhny basically was there physically but not there mentally...

The Djoker Vs Federer match would of ended sooner, in Djoker favor IF he had won the first set he was up 4-2.........also I have very rarely seen Federe lose a set 6-1 or 6-2, he normally loses a set 7-5 or 7-6, very rarely 1 and 2, I think he gave up trying to win the sets once he was broken saving himself for the 5th. I know he was serving for the match, but it ain't over till the fat lady sings (Hey its New York!)

All credit to Novak, I really hope his team can get him to his best physical shape for a exciting final, it would be really sad to see a anti-climax final. I know alot of people are already saying Nadal has won it, but in my mind, this is uncharted territory for Nadal reaching his first US Open Grand Slam final, he may get the jitters.....though he is already a 8 time major Grand Slam champion.

Novak on the other hand has shown that he has beaten Roger again at a Grand Slam event, the first being at 2008 Australian Open semi final, though Roger has said he was suffering from mononucleosis at the time. He should have REAL confidence now, try and recover and do the best he can!

If Nadal steam rolls the finals, what can you say, the guy is a machine....also if he wins the US Open I am out some money, I have to buy a pair of Nike Court Ballistics 2.3 Neon green colorway :-p I will see if they have other colors, as I don;t have a outfit that will match the shoe that well :-/

even though I hate to say this, the beast shud get the trophy.... he is playing a different tennis from earth..... no one in history ever played like this...... he brought the game to a different dimension.....

Djoker's not gona hand it over to Rafa just like that. Remember that this is hard court that they're playing on. We'll see. I just hope Djoker gets to recover from the 5 setter semi and be fresh for the finale. Then we'll be up for a thrilling championship match.

Yes, it is hard court and new territory for Nadal.

However with his new 'weapon' which he acquire just few days after US Open, he is definitely the big favorite this time around. I like to see him win for a career slam but it is would not be good for tennis fan to see one sided match in the final.

Will Djokovic overtake Federer in term of ATP ranking after US Open regardless of the final result?

waoh.. yday was my first time watching.. but then too tired and decided to sleep thinking that fed would prolly win it anyway.. mana tahu..

i actually predicted djoker to win this tournament this if you guys can recall and look how far he has gone.. we'll see how he will go against nadal..

Murray would have crushed him like he did in January. And Del Potro too. Heck I'd even pick Soderling or Cilic over Nadal on hard court. Having said that, it's not Nadal's fault that Murray, Cilic lost early, Del Potro getting injured and so on. Honestly speaking, I think Rafa's draw has been a tad too easy. I mean come on, Youzhny in the semi? The only opponent that actually had a chance to bring him down before the final was Verdasco. But we all know how much he respects Nadal. And Verdasco was struggling with the wind too. So yeah Djoker's gona be the first real threat, provided that he's fresh for the final. Just my two cents though. Anyhow, I'm not by any means saying that Rafa isn't a good player. He's a hell of a player if you ask me. If he wins this, he totally deserves it. Just like how Roger deserved his French Open title.

Well if I get it right, Djoker will only get to #2 if he wins the US Open.

its not new to nadal... he won few hard court masters with use the same sureface as US Open... dont forget, he hasn't lost a set yet!!!!

well, im not supporting both the finalist but i do hope djoker give nadal a fight or else it will be a boring match and a time waster......

Uhm none this year, no? Yes he hasn't dropped a set yet, for the reason that I mentioned before. His draw is suprisingly easy. I'm not trying to take anything from him, really.

i agree tht nadal draw is very easy... i m huge fed fan too.... but by looking the way nadal played i think only murray, nalby, djoker, fed whom are too form can give him a fight....

well see by tmr morning.... i do hope djoko can win but the beast is just too strong.... lets see the outcome tmr.....

rain delayed finals, djoker can rest more and refuel his body, lets hope this delay will bring new energy to djoker so that this us open final wont be a boring whitewash by nadal.........

even the god also helps djoko, so everything will be fair now...... we will see who deserves the title now!!!!

Sprained KNEE is no joke ,friend, if you can go to a specialist in local hospital I advice you to go, if your knee not fully recover, no matter how long you rest, if and when you play, you will be scared to go 100%......if you can go see a physiotherapist, and hopefully can give you tips on exercise to strengthen your knee muscles/joints, but in the mean time, REST!

Was just wondering if anyone can help me. Recently bought a Wilson K61 Tour from thailand and while i'm aware there's a lot of fakes out there, i just want to make sure mine is the real thing (to have a peace of mind). Well, the weight printed on my racket says 11.3 oz instead of 12.0 oz. Is this normal for the Asian K61? Thanks in advance.

If possible can you post detailed pics of your racket, if you wanna confirm your racket original, near the Wilson butt cap, there is a trap door, near the 'W' Wilson logo there is supposed to be a small notch use a small Phillips screw driver remove the butt cap and you should see something like this.There should be a 3 letter code, your grip size 4 1/4 is L2,
4 3/8 is L3 , 4 1/2 is L4.
Must do physio!!! Otherwise not 100%....

I doubt Federer's will be broken any time soon; and hopefully it will last longer a bit, at least until the next gen. of new players.

in 90's, sampras' record was miles away from his competitors and the previous 12 slams record was done ages ago....

Well, what can I say. Hats off the the Rafa. He totally had it coming. Even if he surpasses Roger's grand slam figure, Roger will always be my favourite player. His effortless strokes and all round game is just unmatchable. Honestly, if the knees can hold on for a couple more years, I'm positive that he'll beat Roger's number. We'll see.

good to hear you had a good tennis session, its true after laying off and come back to play, the satisfaction level is more than usual, i had mine last saturday, run and run to build back my fitness......till now my legs and hand muscle aches hahahah.....will be back for weekend tennis again....see u guys soon

just believe la, u ask tiang kim and others, play few games that day tidur at lantai heheh, they all make me run like rabbit trying to chase rabbit hahahah.....it was a good workout for me, so happy to sweat and run:) but now muscle sore pulak....

sigh, arm issue always there until i dowan to talk bout it la, cannot find the right tension or right racquet that will not hurt my elbow whenever i hit....but i guess i just have to play slow slow and get the ball back to them as much as possible hahahah

I don't mean to be a$$hole and kipas you lol, but on tennis-warehouse the review for BLX series, the only positive thing I have read, is people that have had arm problems no longer had them when they when to the BLX, whether or not their strokes koyak or not is another story.... if you have time go and read for yourself!

I have this pain right below my thumb. Anybody familiar with it? Have I been gripping a bit too hard? Or I simply need to get a new layer of overgrip?

Below your thumb? on the inside? if so could be you holding the racket handle too low, hence causing the racket butt to jam the flesh under your thumb.....not 100% sure though.You need to provide more details.
