The guy who has a condo is it kelvin wongs doubles partner? I'm trying to hook up with kelvin to play singles and get more practice for upcoming tournaments. Thanks for the headsup.

Actually finding kaki's in sg is easy but courts only abit hard.. normally all groups play doubles here. been playing lotsa doubles but felt my singles game is not improving much.

Added on October 19, 2010, 6:53 pmThanks for the info man.. if u come down to sg again let me know.. can go for a hit..

Added on October 19, 2010, 7:00 pmklboy, now u got the 3 apdgt -> next to join tournament edi..

then maybe u can try playing with vinay. he's a singles player and it seems like its easy for him to get courts, coz he did mention that he doesnt have a problem. lemme msg him on fb and ask him if he's keen.

Thanks man..

hi al3x y,

I've ordered from TW many times. Didnt have any problems at all.. i always choose UPS as its quite reliable and the tracking is very detailed. I've ordered all my items to Singapore. just be aware of taxes for some items brought into m'sia. Heard there are some high taxes for apparels . U can stuff lots of things together with 1 shipment of racket and the shipping cost will still be the same.. stuff worth buying are like grips, strings.. u can ask your kaki's to share on the cost..

happy ordering.. smile.gif ..

Added on October 23, 2010, 10:00 amVobs, my aim is to make it to the knockout at least. Then set other targets. On the way back after hitting. Nice weather but play suck today.

Yup, the squash courts still behind there n the swimming pool still there. I also not sure got major renovation or not cos I onli been here 2-3 yes onli.

Yala another factor to be successful in tournament is the sun factor. Normally we don't play in the hot sun. Haha. Onli play 8-10 or night time most of the time. When play in cto, die edi. Haha. Anyone can recommend good sunglasses for tennis. Seems like during cto sunglasses is neccessary. Thinking of getting one

Yio chu kang is still the popular place for tennis because it's just beside the mrt. It's currently 2nd behind kallang tennis centre I think.

guys,
i have been poisoned by head youtek speed used by djokovic
my blx only 2 months old and still serves me well
should i get the youtek or should i not

any big difference between blx n youtek?
*
I've tried both speed n blx . I think if u wanna get the speed , get the 18x20 version or I feel radical line is much nicer n similar to the blx 61 95s . Speed I feel is abit stiffer feel to it. The 16x19 speed I had lastime I didn't like when hitting off centre because the string pattern is dense in the middle

Boss....no harm having BOTH at the same time, use and test KAU KAU sampai muntah.....keep the one that you think you play better with....the other sell cheap cheap  off :-p

Added on October 23, 2010, 11:16 amHahha during my era I conquer all tennis centre, show my student bus pass, only SGD3 per hour! I dunno if the Indian lady still at Yio Chu Kang, Kallang got one Malay and Indian jaga there, the sports shop near the Squash court (Kallang)  last time owned by Art Hobbs , me and a few others learned our stringing trade there. After bola session at Kallang there was a A&W and KFC outlet there....always go there after training....
*
yio chu kang still got old lady behind the counter but not too sure its the same one or not.. haha.. ssc sure always change their staff..
yio chu kang upstairs now got a tennis shop and the owner raymond is quite a frenly guy..

when u mention art hobbs, he's the guy who opened the clay courts in sg.. havent met him b4 .. heard he is a davis cup player lastime..
