Added on January 1, 2011, 4:48 pmCheck this cool looking racquet bag out man.
Damn gaya but too bad they don't make em like they use to.

I think the exo3 technology Prince tried to reproduce the success they did previously in the 70s and 80s with the grommetless racquet in the Graphite 1st gen.
Too bad as it seems like a big failure instead. I notice the grommetless thing was different.
Before they had small holes where the string goes in.
Now its big holes and your strings are just laid on top of the grove within the frame.

Just got my freshly strung PDGT ; )
As usual using xfireII but this time imported from TW.
I notice the strings look newer than those I used previously.
The Kevlar side has a more obvious clear coating on it with Ashaway marked on it.
Those that were bought locally can hardly see this, maybe once and 6 or 7 times stringing but never as clear as this time.
Perhaps it's still the better grade stuff is sold to the American market.

Seems like Prince is still going out all with their exo3 technology despite the lack of popularity.

Lukas Lacko is a very good player.
Only lacking in self belief.

Yesterday I tried my PDGT for the first time.
; )

1st impressions on the racquet are :-

Feel - Isn't impressive and I'd say not to my liking at all because of the
hollowness feel after ball contact. I guess this can't be helped as
pure drives are known for this since the 1st generation.

Power - Yeah, I'm very satisfied in this area coz the racquet is mighty
powerful. All my shots are landing in no man's land.

Spin - The most impressive racquet in terms of spin I've tried. At times
I think too much which affects the depth of the ball too. However
on the other hand I get very good consistency.

Serve - You can impart lots of spin or flat serve easily. Lots of power
as well. Helps me alot.

Summary
Likes - Power, spin, serve and consistency improved. All comes easily
without much effort.

Dislikes - Feels very hollow (mmmmmm.... can't feel the ball after
contact). Grip size L2 seems smaller than other manufacturer
causing too much spin. Need to add additional layer of
overgrip.

Overall, I'm satisfied with this stick as it improves my game. However I have got to sacrifice in terms of feel. Well can't get the best of everything I guess.

@angel,

I won't say which racquet is better coz there are areas one is better than the other.

Feel definately Yonex. So to use this I think we have to have good footwork, timing and technique. If you have all these at optimum level, then for sure Yonex is the better choice.

Easy to play & gives good performance. Pure drive wins outright. So it rewards me as a lazy player lacking in power and enthusiam.

So my current condition, the Pure Drive is a better racquet (for me). Still in the stage of getting use to it. Control is still a problem and lots of areas to explore.

@vobs,

Yeah I'm planning to try out different types of strings too. I'll probably try poly first.
As crossfireII's kevlar is stiff + PDGT racquet is also damn stiff itself I'm really feeling it. That's why I'm going to try poly at lower tension. Hmmmmm around 52 I guess.

No la TK sure no hard feelings.
Actually I just want to try one time crossfire first as its a string I'm familiar with to compare with previous racquets I've used.
So now I know the difference and will try to find a string that actually suits the PDGT as crossfire II doesn't match well with it.

This PDGT is a very different racquet compared to all my previous ones.
By the way, my hati gerak-gerak d for the exo3 tour.
