Haiya front is pretty damn useless onelah. I hardly ever turn the stupid thing on. Space between m2 and car in front elephant also can pass it starts screaming and i mean SCREAM!!! when i first got it i test test turn on alamak NOTHING in front also scream. less than 3 mths now my reverse sensor acting up. beeping for no reason. Pg still cannot install alarm. now i worry if Bermaz doesn't get its act together and later bail out then we all in trouble, where to get spares etc?
I luv my bb but these things are worrying.

why u guys worry so much who got the car before june... i also got empty car total everythin rm 86K inclde bodykit and leather seat... now they add many things but price go up... At least we can add wich things we like without removin anythin..

for me.. side miror lights pretty useless.. alarm also pretty useless since without ori key nobdy can steal urcar...

i wan this god damn arm rest... but a pretty big brand mazda cant bring arm rest bring all the useless things...
*
Yeah if price didn't increase but add then is an issue. but price went up so oklah. I want the alarm cosleh if some $*%$* tries to break in to steal stuff when car is parked outside the house at least alarm will wake me up. instead of me zzzzzzzzzz nicely then morning find that the *$(%$% has slowly and comfortably dug everything of value out of the car.

In the earlier thread someone mentioned that the M2 is a driver's car. i agree it isn't so comfortable at the back unless your back passenger is like my Puan at the back. Then can everyday sit very happy. tongue.gif See pic. Just tot I'd share with you guys 1 very satisfied backseat passenger.

every m2 have the same smeel whether when rev engine or wet weather.. check with SC b4 and that time got 1 car fixing dis as well. its actually liquid ( coolant if i not mistaken ) sip into air cond pipe and thats y came out fr the air cond. but to fix it, i see the car they fixing this, have to take whole dash board, whole bumper and some parts under the bonnet just to install 1 little pipe.. new car, so like dis seems like not tat worth, so if can tolerate wif dis 'nice' smell, den just get use to it ba.. the sc oso mention it wun cause any big problem, just d smell oni..
rev engine didn't notice any smell for me maybe cos i very the 'geli' the sour smell loh. smile.gif alamak take out all tat ah? then later put back no smell got rattle and hum pula. do they charge to put that little pipe in?

haha..ya correct!..juara already sent to museum..for me it's called obsolete...no hard feelings guys. I believe most of M2 owners won't care about that sales figure.

cheers

yeah i don't think there is any sense in comparing the m2 sales figures to vios and city. They are not competing in the same market. They are all in the same sub-compact car market but the M2 is CBU and thus the cost is higher u're not getting a 1 to 1 comparison in terms of what the $$ can buy when the other 2 cars are locally assembled. The market is totally different, if focus on value m2 can't compete but fore us M2 owners, like myself. I dragged my old car to death because i didn't like the vios and city(personal preference OK?) When M2 came out, i liked and there i bought even though short this n that. but this is the Niche market that m2 is catering to.

so, no point in looking at sales figures, they are not a meaningful comparison.

That being said, i still expect a certain level of sales and after service support so Bermaz better start pulling their socks up. They can't cut corners there.

Newer stuff will always have more things added. Different manufacturer will be coming out with newer stuff and more accessories thrown in to keep them competitive and if you are to wait, you'll be waiting forever.

As long as you know you got the best possible car to your heart's desire during the time when you needed one for the best value, and enjoyed it, no regrets right?
Excellent reminder j.galen. thumbup.gif

Brakes failing is a very serious matter.. Make sure they settle it for you..
Penang SC a bit useless. Complain air con smelly, he say is the moist condensed in the air con piping, ask me on air con temperature max when i start my engine..
Now still smelly.. After the first free 3 services, can i send my car to my regular mechanic?
*
oh hoh! finally someone else with the same experience PG SC. ya said same thing to me. BSlah. the 6k km later the thing still smells. and where got must start air con at such n such a temp one. tipulah. When i was in the US using M3. When hot use air con. when weather cooled down a bit no need to max nonsense. I think they didn't fix it for our more humid climate here. Planning to not switch on air con when i take car in for 10k service so that i can switch it on and the guy can sniff the sour smell in all it's glory. And if they still dun wanna fix it. He's going to get a taste of what my SA got when he delayed my car forever.
Sad to say as my friend said Malaysia Car people do not understand pleasant. Hv to kick up a fuss and be unpleasant only can get things done. No ethics or principal. Make commitment won't keep. Faulty equipment won't fix. vmad.gif

Hi there, how is the window visor fixed? Do you stick it on? or does it need drilling? Assessing complexity level of installation first wink.gif

Hi Guys,

found someone who actually got the smell issue fixed, it is said that Mazda left out a "missing cable" when they roll out the cars from factory... dunno how true is that, ironically the "missing cable" is now being provided by Bermaz SC according to this forum here  hmm.gif
*
shlimmm seems that cable is to fix the burning smell. What is have is the musty, sour smell, like if clothes have not been dried in sunshine properly. That is why the SC guy try to BS his way say moisture etc. Gosh now got burning smell problem pula. scanning through the mazdaownerclub link makes me grateful so far its only the aircon giving problems. they seem to be a lot of problems on that link
