The blinking final bar should last ~30km before blinking "E" (final bar also disappear). SA told me blinking "E" may still last ~15km but i dare not try, normally when final bar start to blink i will refill within 20km.

*
i didnt know that the "E" will blink also .. in my mind i tot that the last bar is final stage already ... thats y i wondering how come everytime i pump fuel on last bar i only pump in like 32-36L max .

i try b4 on ron97 n 95 ... only diff is ron 97 have better acceleration , distance wise is more or less the same around + - 25km diff .

hmm.. within the same car segment , i guess toyota vios is the best FC car compare to others (e.g mazda 2, new honda city, persona, waja, etc)

reading the FC comparing around, Vios FC average getting nearly 500km per tank which is 14km/l to 15km/l.
*
vios have 42L fuel tank . assuming it use 40L to get 500km . which mean is 12.5km/l . if vios is on 14 to 15km/l which mean with 40L fuel it can get 560 - 600 km .

am i rite ?

yeap. blinking E last for 15km.. hurts me to walk 2km up n down and pump in a bottle and drive back to the petrol station again. really sucks to have think i can achieve more mileage.
*
then next time i will pump my fuel when the "E" blinking ... instead of last bar ..

Mine is around 12km/L city drive, no rev just "babyblur" style driving. If I drive like normal (spirited drive) I only get about 10km/L which makes a lot of differences.

I'm using fully synthetic oil, it's better actually, keep with fully synthetic if possible guys.
*
my drving style tongue.gif lol ~ i also getting aroung 12-13 km/L for city drive . if highway is more .

my experince for pg road might bit diff ... coz too much traffic light .. so u need to accelarate then stop accelarate then stop , so this may cause u to consume more fuel .. me in kl can maintain on certain speed since here got lot highway .

@ squareball n keago

maybe u guys can ask them to reset ur ECU .

Mine also 12~13km/litre. Most time city drive (many traffic lights), occasionally smoother drive (but not highway, just lesser traffic lights). Anyway i pickup at traffic light is more uncle than uncle style....lol.....is aldy ah pek style. I experience one thing; when pick up at traffic light, i release brake & keep ~1 second interval before step on throttle, it's more powerful, can feel the push.
*
hahaaa i drive like ah pek also ... at traffic lights , i rev till 2k rpm then i hold the pedal till it change gear then again to 2k rpm + then hold it to let it change gear ... car will move kinda slow at that time sweat.gif sweat.gif

@squareball

eh my wife house also some where near econsave there ... i every month go back once there .

I think it means that it's not that smooth when the car is switching gears...hmm.gif
*
ah ic .. so far my gearbox is ok lar ...

1 more thing i wan to ask u guys regarding the "hold" button . does this work as Over Drive like other cars ?
i tried it n i found out this ...
1. when i was driving like 40-50 km/j then i press the button , by right it will down shift ur gear rite ? but mine is up shift .
2. if i was driving like 80 or 90 km/j above n i press hold then it will down shift .
3. at traffic light ( car is stop ) , pressed the hold n wan to accelerate , but i feel the gear is heavy , off it then the gear will down shift n i can accelerate faster .

from my previous car , my OD wont act in 1. n 3. like i stated above . so does the above thing apply to our m2 ?

Brakes failing is a very serious matter.. Make sure they settle it for you..
Penang SC a bit useless. Complain air con smelly, he say is the moist condensed in the air con piping, ask me on air con temperature max when i start my engine..
Now still smelly.. After the first free 3 services, can i send my car to my regular mechanic?
*
i have fix my air cond smelly issue . i fix it at bermaz beside federal highway . they changed the filter + hose + dono what .. now problem solve . Also they changed the shaft as well coz my steering very tight .

I had experience sort of brake failure too during wet day driving on highway, but later SC advice it was ABS in function after i describe the situation. Anyway, i always feel something not so right of the brake. Sometimes i can feel the brake still stuck for a second after i release (that feeling is like u pick up the car with handbrake engaged). Only happen occasionally, that's why i cant get SC to solve for me.

Can u further elaborate your experience? I think this is very important to share with all.
*
i have the same problem . SC also cant verify whats the problem . its like when u step on ur brake around 1/10 of ur brake while u moving , but u can feel that u car pulling lot ( like something help u to press more on ur brake ) . 2nd is like what mashi said , ur car stuck for like 1-2 sec after u release ur brake . this happen to me quite lot time . i think this problem i also hard to write it here . maybe we can share it after cny TT .

QUOTE(squareballs @ Jan 25 2011, 03:08 PM)
sc always try to avoid trouble..
*
i don agree . some SC n SA is good . i have sent my car for brake n other problem like 3-5 time n they trying to find out the problem , they nv told me ur car is like that n this .. they done great . so far i only go to beside federal bermaz .
