I mean how do they get water resistant? is there a film in front of the 3 place?

what sort of retail shop should we visit? as i know locally theres really no specialize shop for Motorola phone as I recall, its almost like theres no local Motorola support. no kiosk, no banner. most of it are like nokia,lg,se,samsung etc. i know that we could get it in any mobile phone shop but where is the better place/option to visit. like they really know/deal Motorola well/before. reliable, knowledgeable. not just buy and bye bye shop.

do aftersales service centre of motorola exist? like brightstar is the local authorize dealer, are they going to repair the phone if is faulty?
klcc outlet is closed up like years ago, wonder wht happen.

so could we start up a list of like; to giv new/future owner reference for them to get it easier. more info would be better.

after collecting the data we could compile out options/where to buy.

-where we get the set (normal hp shop,online, etc)
-origin of the set (local,ap,oversea)
-if possible together with the price tag?
-manufacture date?

personally i nvr go by any motorolas before be it owning or seing it. i couldn't find anywhere for its dummy,display or demo set.

maybe i'm too used to nokia and se concept store.

what maxis? i went to pavillion,sunway pyramid,bbtone maxis centre plus a few of their maxis exclusive partner store yet, none of them has a brochure or dummy about motorola defy yet they advertise like its on fire.

i ask their staff in sunway centre, he say "sini memang tak ada la, >kalau u bijak<, pergi internet search motorola outlet"

i have to say i'm not smart, because there's no way on internet u could find any motorola local support.

i even called up motorola.my hotline(which i suspect based in sg) angmo speaking to me, they say no info about retail shop and also distributor. cool uh

This is some good info, have been trying to find codes like this for so long.

like older manufacture ori os, nokia's, se's etc theres always code like this to check alot of info of their phone from
software to hardware.

Anymore on this? I never use any motorola phone before so may not know any of this code.

although not all is working, because it seems to be code for samsung android.

i have something similiar and not so complete, but is in an apps form, so it should be easier to access without pressing code on dialer.
it is call "Secret Setting" free in market.

but too bad, till now i still haven't got access to Hardware manufacture date.

i duno where to find.
