i think i better revert back to stock fw and upgrade to froyo using motorola software update since i dun quite like the interface of the version on front page 

i think i shall get the official 2.2 and then try the   of launcher pro see if i like it

likely you set your USB connection to mass storage mode, so your SD card is being used by PC instead of phone. change it to charge/none then your phone should be able to read it

Nothing right now to ask i`m still on 2.34.1, waiting for official 2.2.
As for SPB, this version working very well on my Defy.

What should I do if I want to upgrade my sd card? just copy and paste to the new card? How about those hidden file on my old card?

I m running stock 2.1  2.59.0 rooted

Wanted to get one but want to make sure that I am satisfy with the phone, as i just tried out the Desire Z and the 800mhz proc is quite sluggish to my liking, so I'm afraid the Defy's 800mhz would be the same, and Maxis doesnt have any demo unit.

Yup, well said . Though it acted weird last night , rebooting itself, then hangs , take out put back battery , real frustrating. Touch wood, so far today it behave real good.
