guys, i need some info here.. biggrin.gif

1. is the speaker ring loud and clear? <useful for alarm especially>
for me is ok or you can choose a loud ringtone or make your own

2. issit fast for the GPS to lock signal from satellites?
hm.. open space sure ok, u know lah it is just a A-GPS, boleh tahan[/B]

3. is the screen responsive enough especially for fast-typing sms
so far me haven't "fast" typing sms, just swipe or press[/B]  tongue.gif

4. is the screen viewable under hot sunlight
Well, u can always adjust to 100% bright, me always adjust to fit what i need to[/B]

5. the camera, in scale of 5 (1 very poor, 3 moderate, 5 very nice for a phone), which one u will give.
oh .. i'll give 1 if compare to my Moto ZN5! but give 3 if compare with my wife samsung SGH-900. One more thing i like the video very much, not HD but smooth & clear[/B][cool.gif
  icon_rolleyes.gif
thanks a lot in advance!!

Hey guys, i'm currently loaning my friend's defy just to test it out before i buy it tongue.gif

the multitouch keyboard is super awesome and the predictive text is damn accurate man! laugh.gif

I noticed something though, i can't seem to find a lanyard hole anywhere on the phone rclxub.gif
*
ya, i notice it on the first day i got it.

now still thinking what can i do to make a lanyard hole.

i know Defy can tahan drop from our hand ... but not from over 20 meters height. just in case hmm.gif

thanks you so much sanosizo!
nice to hear that the keyboard is nice. because the girl that i'll be giving the defy to never use touchscreen device before.. kinda worry that she will have a hard time typing sms..

and i dont think u need lanyard on a phone that doesnt mind to be dropped. no?  tongue.gif
*
irenic,

just make sure the girl not going to use touchscreen with her finger nail laugh.gif

else she will complaint to u :" this phone tak boleh pakai lah" doh.gif

I think there's a tiny opening gap between the screen and edge of the rubber finish where the water get in. Cause right before we went to the dealer, stop by at the washroom and dunk it in the sink filled with water. And more water getting in and eventually flood the entire display

Added on January 11, 2011, 1:51 pmOpps I meant the seller. Fortunately some motorola service guys also at the shop. They were almost speechless after seeing the phone screen LOL
*
in this case, consider nonstructural defeat laugh.gif exchange fast fast

hmm .. i did shower my phone last night, after a few drops of 100plus effuse on it hmm.gif
