Now no problem alrdy. My phone can read it now. I deleted tones of files in there. I think the sd card is overload  hmm.gif

in this case, will strongly recommend u to backup your data to pc then format your memory card with phone.

so card reader can read? If card reader can read then most probably no problem gua. I use testdisk to recover lost partitions, accidentally deleted files, hdd corruption or semi-dead hdd. You should learn the software if you got time and a few dead hdd lying around. Who knows, you may be able to resurrect it again! LOL laugh.gif

btw, jboogie's latest ROM just released! Gonna flash it tomorrow rclxm9.gif laugh.gif

okay,

make it simple.

1. do the step of Restore Froyo_UK_3.4.2-117 ( Phone must rooted and System recovery installed )

2. boot to boot loader mode ( i'll suggest power off then press the power + volumn up button or use the take out battery method )

3. connect phone with RSD lite under boot loader mode, make sure windows detect and install driver. Then from RSD lite browse to location where you put the file "TmobileUS_Boot ..." and flash it.

-------------
erh ..... now only i notice my phone no Gtalk ohmy.gif

bro, problem is, i can't even get out of bootloader, so i can't even recover anything.
*
only boot loader?

okay, try this one .. power off the phone, then press the power + volumn down key together.

oh yes is volumn "down" not up

( Power + Volumn Up = boot loader, power + volumn down = android recovery )

under this android recovery, u will the android robot at the center of screen.

use ur finger and touch at the bottom right side corner to show the menu options. ( that the place to hide it also )

I can.

The problem arises when i try to restore Froyo_UK_3.4.2-117 with the provided link (http://www.multiupload.com/TD0GRA4HOX) which was provided at the froyo upgrade guide.

The message appears that there is a md5 mismatch for the Froyo_UK_3.4.2-117.
*
may i know which rom u are using before u do the recovery?

and it may possible u need to re download the file if got file corrupt issue.

I am using the stock ROM which came with the phone. The build number is 2.59 instead of the standard 2.51 that i have noticed from other people in this forum.

Could it be because my phone is 2.59 that i cant upgrade it to froyo?
*
blink.gif 2.59 ?? something new leh.

so u manage to root your stock rom and install the system recovery. But u fail to upgrade to froyo during the restore process.

am i right ? hmm.gif

I actually prefer go Launcher EX, but the latest updated (2.11 onwards) seems to eat up the battery fast. The version before that was OK. On their site, they are stating that trying to fix the battery drain issue. So now change to launcher pro.
Prefer Go Launcher EX for the horizontal menu, Recent use items and kill task build in.
*
Oh ya. I like the build in kill task also.

Sent from Defy try Yes huddle at Lcct now
