Every state in Malaysia has psychiatry services. If you want to see a government psychiatrist, you may get a referral letter from any government clinic at the cost of RM1 consultation fees. Just tell them you think you have depression and want to see a psychiatrist, and they will refer you to the nearest hospital with psychiatry clinic. You many also get a referral letter from a private clinic, but the specialist consultation fees will be RM 30 instead of RM 5.
